2025-02-16 17:39:17 +0000 UTCThey could have discovered it by accident like Fred and George, but were too invested to become Animagi to just keep Remus there during full moon I suppose. According to Hogwarts Legacy, the Room of Requirement is Unplottable the same way Hogwarts is. I also think that because it takes different forms and sizes, you could never genuinely map it out. In that way, the Marauders could have known about it and tried mapping it, but simply couldn’t because it’s Unplottable. And I also thought Hogwarts was founded above the Pensieve like the Ministry and the Death Archway.

2025-02-16 15:44:07 +0000 UTCI always thought that the Room of Requirement wasn’t on the map 🗺️ because the Mauraders didn’t KNOW about it because they didn’t “discover” it because they had no use for it during the time they were at Hogwarts; like they hide in the forest 🌲 in their animagus forms when they “needed” a place to hide rather than in the RoR … And, wasn’t Hogwarts first built where the Pensivse was?? I thought I read/heard of that somewhere … 🤔
