Love this new podcast series! My dad got me into Harry Potter when I was little and I showed him this podcast recently and it’s brought back our own love for discussion on the series. Idk if this has been asked, but how do you guys think Dumbledor’s plans might have changed if he’d agreed to let Tom Riddle become the DADA professor? It would’ve been a good way for Dumbledore to keep an eye on him & possibly find out about the horcruxs (would Tom put it in the room of requirement if he was working at the school instead of just dropping it off?) So if Dumbledore knew about the Horcrux’s, would he have hunted for them? Confront Tom? Would he be in the middle of hunting them when he hears the Prophecy, and if so, would he stop?
