I work for a major pharmaceutical company. Not gonna name names but it’s very much known worldwide. In my particular line of work we get new people coming in and out so often it really is not uncommon for someone to quit by just up and leaving. It usually happens in someone’s first few weeks of working there that they’ll excuse themselves to use the restroom and then never come back. None of us think anything of it at this point and we assume the boss has taken care of it but what you were saying at around the 17 minute mark reminded me a ton of it.
