There’s a caveat I’d like to point out with Nagini and that since she is a Maladictius it is plausible that even when fully trapped in serpent form she does as far as we know still have her own human soul inside her plus a piece of Voldemort’s soul and if in theory we think animals have souls theirs and implication she could have up to three souls inside herself and that would also mean any animegi would have two but only the one of the form their in is actively radiating which might also explain how the shifting of forms affects their emotions and susceptibility to injuries. Final thought if all of the above is true does that mean werewolves and similar beings have one amalgam soul or two souls that shift with their form because if the latter that could suggest that someone like teddy who has a recessive gene for lycanthropy could have an inactive second soul or at least the genes to bear a child with active lycanthropy who then would have a second soul. Also for those not born with it but being infected by bite that would be said soul would develop upon their first transformation. What are your thoughts Brothers and fellow Harry Potter Heads?
