Chapter 18: Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs | Prisoner of Azkaban (AD FREE)
Added 2024-10-04 21:00:08 +0000 UTCJoin J and Ben as they dive into Chapter 18 of the Prisoner of Azkaban and discuss whether or not Snape accompanied Lupin to the Shrieking Shack, why nobody in Hogsmeade ever complained about being attacked by a werewolf and also a dog and also a deer and also a rat, and no one ever tells Harry what his dad's animagus form was.

I have a cool story that I’d like to share: so my parents both woke in astronomy related jobs and my dad especially has flown all over the world to witness different types of solar eclipses. I have also seen a few and especially the one time when there was I think it was a ring form solar eclipse (not sure about the English name) that was witness able in Madrid Spain my parents and I and a few other colleagues flew from Germany to Madrid and went to see it. This happened in October of 2005 I think it was and we flew the day that the German version of HP 6 was released. I was soooo excited for this book that I made my Mom order it on the midnight express delivery service so that I could take it to Spain with me. I was reading all the way and even during the eclipse and only looked at the sun a couple of times . There’s photos of my where the people watch the eclipse and little 12 year old me is sitting in the grass reading HP 6 😂

2024-10-18 08:59:38 +0000 UTCThere was an instance in canon where Voldemort thought he couldn’t directly kill someone- snape! Do you think he would try to use Nagini to kill Harry in this what if?

2024-10-08 00:26:06 +0000 UTCYour discussion on wolfsbane potion being "brewed friendship" is so interesting when you put it in the context of the marauders fanon, which is that Remus had been sent to a werewolf pack on Dumbledores orders but found that he was actually quite happy there. If the pack is able to be that form of friendship to each other, when they transform they know they aren't alone and they are actually less dangerous because they have each other, though the Wizards with their prejudice are fearful of packs because they think they can hunt even easier.

2024-10-06 06:13:59 +0000 UTCI imagine Voldemort would need to die, but he can’t let a death eater do it, so he tries to get Harry to kill him.

2024-10-05 03:24:42 +0000 UTCgreat episode. I kinda thought Lupid knew Snape was there on my 3rd or 4th read through, i don't remember exactly. and this chapter shows how hard it can be to know doing the right thing will risk people being disappointed in you. I've thought Lupid viewed Dumbledore as a kind of father figure, and a good father figure, people will take great risks to not see them disappointed.
