2025-06-09 12:49:14 +0000 UTCGosh, the idea that Molly and Dumbledore had almost the same motivations involving Harry in OOTP is really impactful to me- this is the woman who loves Harry so much that his death is part of her deepest fears. Both of these two love him so much that they’re ignoring his reality and sheltering him too much :(

2024-10-05 19:26:38 +0000 UTCWhen you talked about Ron’s line “If you want to kill Harry you’ll have to kill us too” I'm surprised you didn't mention the bewildering decision the movie made to take that line away from Ron and give it to Hermione, who doesn't have a broken leg when she says it. 🙄

It's one of my favorite moments in all the books because it's just proof AGAIN that true friendship will eventually conquer all. Even after twelve years Remus's friendship with Sirius is the most powerful magic in that room.

2024-09-29 10:45:13 +0000 UTCI'm not sure why (i have to read through again) I always imagined Sirius as kind of a player. but if Sirius is gay, do you think it's a situation where he doesn't realize it himself, and never had a chance to explore it? I'm mean James made it clear literally from day one he liked lilly. that being the case it just makes Sirius' life just that much more tragic 😥

Also, I know there’s been a lot of fanfics done about “Moonstar”, with Lupin & Sirius being a couple, BUT actually, Morgan from MovieFlame made another theory that makes WAY more sense to me: Sirius is gay & was in love with JAMES, not Lupin!! ‘Cause think about it: Sirius was EXTREMELY loyal to James & he NEVER had a girlfriend (that we know of) in school AND he’s described as being very handsome & charming!! A bit funny that he never had a girlfriend in school, isn’t it … ?? Y🧐🏳️🌈 Ben saying “There’s no one that Sirius loves more than James” is what reminded me of this theory. 😊 And, in this instance, I like Hermione’s reaction in the movie better: she’s a lot nicer to Lupin in the movie; “No, I trusted you! Dumbledore trusted you! He’s a werewolf! That’s why he’s been missing classes!”, I think was her reaction in the movie.
