2024-08-26 18:32:01 +0000 UTCPersonally, I think that Harry ends up in Slytherin rather than Ron in Hufflepuff. I can't imagine the Weasleys instilling much prejudice against other houses in Harry, not even Slytherin, so even if he somehow still meets Draco alone in Diagon Alley (I can't imagine Arthur or Molly would let him talk like that if they were present), he'll have known about Slytherin House for several years before that and won't let Draco taint his opinion of it as much.

Also, I kinda had a similar question to this b/c I never really liked the “blood-protection” “excuse” for Harry HAVING to live with people who ACTIVELY abuse him just b/c of DNA . . . But in MY version of the question, instead of the Weasleys, Harry would be with just another family . . . like another Wizarding family who DON’T have a child already but who DESPERATELY want one b/c of the money issue of having to take care of YET another child . . . So, anyway, thanks for answering my question, kinda, I guess! 😅
