Ron turns evil because of Harry being raised by the Weasely's. He is like the opposite of Sirius and becomes the Peter Pettigrew of the group.

Also, I kinda had a similar question to this b/c I never really liked the “blood-protection” “excuse” for Harry HAVING to live with people who ACTIVELY abuse him just b/c of DNA . . . But in MY version of the question, instead of the Weasleys, Harry would be with just another family . . . like another Wizarding family who DON’T have a child already but who DESPERATELY want one b/c of the money issue of having to take care of YET another child . . . So, anyway, thanks for answering my question, kinda, I guess! 😅

I had put Ron in Slytherin because I believed he would want to overshadow Harry. But I kept the fact Ron had feelings for Hermione still to make it a Romione vs Harmione.

At first, Ron fills the malfoy role in tatting them and bullying them until they finally come together and become four good friends along with Hermione.
