Ooh! Good thinking! 🤔😊

question: if the memory he sees is voldemorts worst memory, wouldn't that suggest the bogart is connecting to voldemorts piece of soul? meaning voldemorts greatest fear is also a dementor.

In regards with Wood mentioning about Harry being off the team, remember talking about Wood having replacements and such. I mean if Harry can’t play because of the dementors then he wouldn’t be on the team, so honestly it makes sense for this to be brought up. It would be the same if there is a basketball player who discovers he has a weak heart and playing could be bad, so a replacement is in talk. The player is in danger themselves and it’s not helping the team either. That said, for me at least, I always felt the charm with Oliver Wood was due to him being completely oblivious to anything save Quidditch. Perhaps there were reasons for it, not sure, but...

A Yoman is a commoner of honorable position. Like a shopkeeper or the like.

I think that Sirius' note is just a cheque, which are probably even more secure in the Wizarding World, because there might be a way to sign them magically. Alternatively, he could've had the Goblins transfer the gold and attached the receipt to the order form. As for whether a ghost's death counts, it could also be that you're not personally remaining but rather leaving a simulacrum of yourself behind and still move on yourself. The thusly created ghost might have no knowledge of what happened in Limbo and assume that it's still the original soul. This also accounts for sane ghosts: You're not damning yourself to eternal existence, just something that looks like you and will take care of your unfinished business for you. This might even be necessary so that the original you is even able to rest in peace.

Oh my Gosh! And Lily would then haunt Petunia & Vernon & Harry gets treated WAY better because of this! Be kinda funny, honestly, considering muggle can’t see ghosts! 😅

The whole ghost discussion at the end made me consider a interesting "What If" theory. What if Lily and James or at least one of Harry's parents, came back as a ghost after death? How would that change the story of Harry Potter? Would the ghosts of Lily and James try and raise Harry? Would they allow Dumbledore to take their son to the Dursleys or insist on having another wizarding family or Sirius raise him? Would they be able to clear Sirius' name by testifying that he wasn't the secret keeper? Would Peter still get away? I think there is so much interesting stuff that could be explored with this theory! Hope you give it a consideration!

I think in the movies, the trunks DO have wheels & roll. I seem to remember a scene where the kids are walking, pulling their trunks behind them like you would with a muggle suitcase at the airport. 😅 Also, with ghost thing, you have to remember that Moaning Myrtle was like 12 when she died, so a level of immaturity comes with being only 12! 😉 But I’m also kinda shocked/surprised that there isn’t more CHILDREN ghosts, then, too, given their immaturity & if there IS a “ghost door”, especially in like the Middle Ages when medicines/healing spells may not have been invented/created yet … I know it’s a bit morbid to talk about children during, but … 🤔 And, maybe Seamus is just too shy to ask Parvti out; after all, “she’s the prettiest girl” in their year. So maybe it’s shyness … 🤔

I think the ghosts have actually died, so Myrtle's death still works for the diary: If you're going to reason out that in limbo you get a ghost door and an "on" door, we still have to look at Harry's case. He gets the same choices (plus the love-crux caveat), but Harry actively did die. Harry HAD to die in order to defeat Voldemort no questions asked. (If Harry had chosen ghost instead, he still would have died because that was his plan anyways, to have Hermione or Ron kill Voldemort after Harry was gone). So I think limbo is still a death of some sort even if you choose the ghost door you still have died. Nick might have just felt like he never actually died cause his life has been so long.
