9:48 At the beginning of the book, there actually was at least one mention of Sirius looking somehow familiar to Harry. Maybe in the Knight bus, seeing his picture in the newspaper. He seemed to remember the face, but not just from the news broadcast.

My dad grew up in Europe & he says homework on Break is a regular thing there. He even had to study for exams that were AFTER Christmas Break! 😉 And maybe Buckbeak is like Newt’s Pickitt. 2024-08-16 23:56:20 +0000 UTCThe way I have always viewed the fire bolt. Is that by its description it has the same take off speed as a Porsche Spyder. Which is a million dollar car. So in my mind I have always took it as the firebolt is like comparing a supercar to like a Camaro. A Camaro is a nice care that someone will show off but it is not in the same class as a Spyder.
