The text Thomas wrote that inspired the most epic song on the record! (Ok, ONE of the most epic songs!! XD)

Hello me Hearties!

This is the text that Thomas sent to Meek to inspire him with a vision. After reading this, Meek started to work on the piece which became "The Dead of the Sea". The final lyrics of the song don't reflect the text as it was intended to inspire a new musical direction!

-             „What have we done to the old world, captain?”

A new day’s sailing commences, the wind is favoring this route, the sea tells the tales of recent battles. The new moon knots are untying, their secrets yet to be revealed.

-             “This air smells fresh,” he responds calmly. “Hypocrisy, greed, envy - hearts of the old world finally disclose their deluded truth. For this we seek our own new one, a narrative for the future. What we are to become, lies in the palm of our hand, in the spirit of our hearts, in every step we take.
All thoughts to be thought, all that must be done, can be found in the present moment.
In the darkest hours, we must consciously control our thoughts.
The world has not turned poisonous, darkness is the reason we can see the light.
We have become pirates as their counterpart, free in spirit and true in our hearts.
The bigger picture is visible, maneuvering through storms that invade our spirit with doubts, try to turn our mind and blur our purpose.
We stood strong, together, our tales have spread like wildfire.
We rule the oceans, the mainland, every street, ever house, we have sown hope in the hopeless.
The old leaders are losing their grounds, with all we do their anger rises, their lies bear more filth than before and their hearts darken for the worse.
Each day of light and sun is followed by the grimmest storm, nature testing our strength for the last battle.
One thought after the other, one step after the other, consciously progressing, growing.
We cannot be stopped if we connect, to ourselves, to companionship, to the universe, to the truth.
The sun will guide us, as will the storms.
Division will infest us if we break, evil can only grow through division. Selected ones will lead, with awakened spirit and true hearts.
The sea is brewing, the air is filled with tension, with hope for glory, ready to fight the ultimate battle, we neither fear shedding blood nor death, for that we know that this is bigger and greater than life itself.
Battle cries will linger for centuries, ancestors will hum our melodies, lyrics will be told in this new world we are creating.
Our glory will live on eternally. As we must become one, one movement, one army, we will all unite under one final ARMADA.
