Several months ago, Latif Nasser (from RadioLab) reached out and asked if I could give a TED talk on AI music. I think I responded with, "Uh...like, the REAL TED talk?" Fast forward to this week when I'll be headed up to Vancouver to unleash my ruined music upon the esteemed TED audience. If you'd asked me 5 years ago if posting a random YouTube/Reddit video (turning "Shallow" into a polka song) would some day lead to me speaking on the TED stage, I would have found it hilariously bizarre. And I still do ๐
Thank you to the Patreon supporters in particular. There are still so many copyright challenges with these creations (I just got a YouTube strike yesterday in fact) that I've never been able to turn this into my main job, so your support goes a long way to keep me motivated and keep my wife patient with this hobby :)
