Let me tell you a story.
It all started with a silly sketch. The sketch that i decided to turn into a colored picture. When lines were done i realized that i have no idea what to do for a background. Blocked out the scene and saw many things that were wrong and required correction.
Re-draw everything. 3 times.
Then i made an another mistake, i thought that since i've spent so much time on this picture it's worth rendering. I'm stubborn and i hate to scrap pictures/draw for the drawer. After flat colors and rough lighting i decided to try a different approach: painting instead rendering layer by layer.
BIIIG MISTAKE.

And while result might look... interesting. I don't think it's worth the enormous amount of work hours that i've spent on it.
I could only hope that you would appreciate my efforts.
Because i already hate it REEEE
(updated post: added some "side product" pictures that were drawn during the process)
