Question:
πΈ For people with reading anxiety: will the boys have a happy ending?
That's what we want to find out! Looking at the core of the story, I think it all boils down to "is it even possible for them to have a happy ending?"
As it stands right now they shouldn't even be able to be here - Robin used to be a place and is now in a human body separated from his land, and Noah shouldn't be able to get reincarnated because he used to be a nature spirit.
Robin has started to have nightmares, too, so now we have a base for them dreaming and remembering their past together!! The things they will find out from now on will be about how they met as spirits, and the things that went wrong or right.
How did they become so close as spirits? What does Mother think of it all? Was there a flood involved or something else? What happened to their forest? Was it their decision to become humans? Will their relationship fall apart or get stronger once they remember they were spirits? Will they miss being spirits? and so on....
The more we find out about how they feel... the more we will know what would count as a Happy Ending. Staying together as humans? Returning to their forest as spirits? Just be together forever no matter what? Or is it to save each other from pain even if they can't stay together?
I know this is a bit mean of me to reply like this, just giving you more questions and not a real answer, but I made sure that the way it ends will be what's best for them!
They will get hurt a lot (not just physically) through the story, but I don't want it to be completely hopeless. I admit that my calm (?) storytelling is a bit like a trap ;; and the ending will hurt, too. But maybe it will be a good hurt? π Okay, and before you can look right through my plans... please trust me with the ending! π»
P.S.: I promise that Mimi will be alright and will stay with them until the very end!
Question:
πΈ I really like Mimi :) Why was she lost outside?
I'm so glad you like her, thank you! I think I mentioned this before, but Mimi is important for Noah's character development! One of the reasons why I included her is because she's just super cute and she's their baby now!! But there's a little more to it, too.
She was lost outside because someone didn't want to take care of her and this person abandoned her... Instead of bringing her to a shelter this person left her in the park to die. Usually there aren't many visitors in the park, since it is a bit outside of the town where Noah lives. He likes to go there to take photos or just to be alone with his thoughts. Luckily (for both of them) Noah was there juuust at the right time to take her home! π
