September Hiatus!
Added 2019-08-31 18:37:19 +0000 UTChey, end of August is already here!! i spent most of August with self care and enjoyed the off time, i practiced and doodled a lot... but I'm not ready to come back yet, and i've decided to take September off, too. the billing cycle is still paused! you won't get charged for September and you don't need to delete your pledge (unless you want to of course). it will resume when i come back!
i hope you can all see this public post and get notified,
basically, i realized something while i was away. i have to cut and shorten the plot of Ghost Lights - because of my health. the realization sent me through some serious heartbreak ;; but while at first i was really sad about it... i'm really motivated now. luckily i realized now when i still can do that and not when it's too late. i'll use this as a chance to make the story much much better (i hope), creepier... and as beautiful as possible! and it will be better for myself once it's done.
i began to cut scenes and it's a huge task and will be a lot of work, especially because the scenes build onto each other. i will go into more detail once i'm back and can lock the posts again!
while i focus on writing i will also work on upcoming scenes (most of volume 3 is good to go, so GL will continue for sure), i started with the storyboard already
but i need time to really sort this out. thank you so much for your patience and your support 🥺💙 i hope we'll see us in October again. please take care, ily 💕

It's such a good story! So please do take the time to care for yourself, we love you, we wish you health and all the best and we'll wait patiently. <3

But I always find that trusting the creative process in that way ultimately makes the story the best it can be. Thank you for the update! Keep taking good care of yourself. One quick question- would you ever consider posting the whole un-cut story online even if it's only in a script/summary format? Obviously, not while the comic is still running, but afterwards perhaps? At least that way, perhaps you could still fulfil that longing for the longer version of the story? While I'm certain you'll make the comic as fulfilling and beautiful and creepy as possible (which we all love) I'm still curious about the full version, if you know what I mean... No pressure of course, just curious and love here <3
