merch progress - test charms arrived!

unfortunately the walnut wood is the darkest wood they have ;; the wood is a bit darker in reality though, so hopefully it will be better if i just try to tweak the colors of the whole motive. thank you for your honest thoughts it helps a lot <3!! i'm trying to come up with a solution asap

Both charms are so beatuiful!! I think the dark wood fits pretty much with the atmosphere. I don't think a lighter one would look better, I believe it will blend more and give a weird contrast with the fur colors. If you lighten up the smoke and the flowers a bit I guess it will hit your expectations :D

I love the Polaroid! Super cute! I the after you touch up the smoke and flowers the design for the wooden charm will look great. I know nothing about wood, so I think you should get those samples ( that you paid for) and decide from those. I love both, so I trust your final judgement.

I'm all for the charms! They look so good already! I'd say that, as others have, maybe bump up the saturation a bit of the smoke and maybe hint of details for Robin, but a darker wood might make Noah pop out. Hopefully with saturating the smoke and Robin will also make him pop more on a darker wood.

I enjoy the dark wood!! It gives it that nostalgic feel. It all looks gorgeous though, I’m so excited for you!

I love them, amazing! The Polaroid looks perfect. I do really like the darkness of the wooden one, perhaps on an even darker wood may work even better to help the design pop. I agree that the flowers need an up in saturation. I’m sure what ever you ultimately end up deciding will be perfect! Thanks for all the hard work and care your putting in! Everything is looking beautiful.

Love love love these!! I think the walnut is a good choice. Dark wood has an earthier feel and it seems fitting. If you want to go lighter I think we all trust your decisions! 💕

Both of them look wonderful! I have to agree with the others on the wood , walnut looks really good on them. I would only touch up the flowers a bit. Cannot wait for them to be done eventually, I love getting to see these updates. <3

Can we get a photo of the wood charm out in the sunlight? That will give the best idea of its truest coloring.

Just gonna come out and say that the Polaroid one is fantastic. I love how cute it is and the idea is great. Two thumbs up for that! The wood.... I think it would actually benefit from being even darker.... Simply because of how Noah's fur colour blends in with the wood too much... A darker backing would really make them 'pop' a little more out of the charm. I'm not sure how a lighter wood would affect the colours though. The glow in Robin's chest may then get a little too faded... Who knows. Best thing would be to experiment. I actually like how the transparency of the smoke gave it some texture and depth. The flowers I have to agree with you, though- they look a little too muddy and not saturated enough. Other than that, they're both wonderful!!! I can't wait to get my hands on them!

I really like the looi of the older wood, maybe like you said up yhe saturation of it a little bit. Have you contacted the company about the samples? You paid for them you should definately still get them!

I would definitely buy the polaroid charm, it's super cute! As for the wooden merch, I think it looks good on the dark one, as others mentioned before. ^_^ It gives a relaxed, natural look to the characters too, it reminds me of a quiet sunset with a little cuddle moment between them. ~

Das Polaroid sieht super aus 😄 aber bei dem Holzanhänger wäre ich mir unsicher wegen der dunklen Farbe. Vielleicht wäre besser wenn es etwas heller wäre, damit es sich mehr von dem Motiv abgrenzt
