Weird Week | Blahblah (content warning)

I had a lot of plans for this week but man, some stuff has been happening that has
put up some roadblocks for me. Besides from some technical issues which have
been resolved (I hope) - there's been a suicide in my family; one of my nephews.
Someone I used to babysit and played through Metal Gear 4 with and had
some fun memories.. but yeah I won't go into more details. It just feels .. bad.
Moreover their funeral was held on my birthday,
and I couldn't attend,
and it really really sucks.
I did have some good cake and pizza at least
and the best of company in my amazing and comforting partner.
We basically played Mario 3D World on the Switch all day.
Also my Animal Crossing villagers held a party for me, woo.
But yeah, back to art content, Mona looks a little sad above but I swear no one was
mean to them. Tweaked some stuff on the model to calm my own emotions in
these turbulent times. Tweaking 3D stuff can be soothing so yeah.
I'll post the next chapter of ONCE A PAIR tonight or tomorrow.
I had some technical issues during the renders on the back half but
I'm trying to fix it in post. It's a good thing it has a glitchy look by default I guess.
Anyway, more about that when I post it.
I hope you all are safe, healthy and happy, and remember if there's
a friend or someone who matters to you that you haven't talked to in a while,
maybe send them a message or something. Just a little thing.
A lot of people are lonely, especially during the pandemic. IDK.
