So, this is pretty much a post dedicated to the picture I did to conmemorate '22 LGTBIQ+ Pride.
HD Version:
I went for an ominous take of Lord Black on a throne like setting, kindda imitating imperial/regal classic paintings but swapping the cape/cloth with a LGTBIQ+ flag. The idea is to, on top of the usual cheery/celebratory imagery, creating something with a powerful vibe to showcase the epicness of this fight too.
I'm not a fan of some of the proportions but, and I don't mean to blow my own horn, I'm happy with the general lighting and, specially, on how reflective those pants look! ^^
Here you can check the PSD file:
The top layer is the final image as I had to collapse all the layers to add some effects, specially lighting effects based on layers fusion modes that depend on layers opacity. That's a common thing for me in PS. But other than that, this is one of the rare times where I kept most of the layers as I was working, probably to keep it as editable as posible.
And as a lil bonus... A while after I finished this I found an online tool that reads the rendering into some sort of 3D mockup in order to tune the lighting of it. Tool is https://clipdrop.co/relight and here's the result of me playing a little with it for this one and a small video of the process. (Pic is lowres since the free version of the tool won't allow for HD pics export)
(BTW, for those interested in art details, notice how by turning the luminosity up some subtle details will show up. Just as a small idea that, sometimes, it's fine to allow subtle details to remain almost invisible to add some flavour to the pic.)
And that's it.
No TBM new lore but hope you people like it!
Thanks a lot for your support!
