The Chess Set (HD/CSP Files/Notes & Sketches)
Added 2023-04-17 18:33:23 +0000 UTCWhen I started musing the idea of opening subscription sites in order to help me keep afloat and, specially, be able to keep doing artworks, the whole setting this sites up suddenly became a thing. (Actually, at the day I'm writing this I still haven't managed to get Subscribestar going T_T)
One of the many things I now had to take care, was coming up with a concept for the different subscription tiers. While discussing it with some friends the recurring theme was setting the lowest tiers as the lowest subs/slaves and the higher tiers as doms/masters, but I disregarded this idea since The Black Mirror should be welcoming to both doms, subs and switches...
And among this conversations someone came up with, "maybe some chess pieces or something..."
That kindda clicked in my head as some concepts do and kept musing about it till I came up with this:

I already had thought of a nice concept for a tip-jar equivalent tier in case the site, as fanbox do, didn't have a tipping option. That one was easy given my tastes, specially thinking Ko-fi has been a thing since forever:
The avatars were quite a success (I still get messages insisting I ought to do the whole set and 3D print them). But Fanbox also required cards and the pieces were too square to fit. I also have been thinking on how nice it would be to do human versions of the pieces (as if they were to be part of the kinkiest human chess ever XD).

It doesn't let me in a particular good spot addressing the fact that it takes me an active effort to do so, but I'm trying to add more diversity to the subjects at The Black Mirror. It's a work in progress, so please, bear with me. :P
