OCs: The Magpies (HD/Clean/CSP File/Extra Lore)

Very few individuals have lived up to the full potential of the word 'brat'. It actually took a duo.

Never a couple of slaves have pushed so hard their boundaries or risked punishment as much as these two. And yet, more often than not, they get away with it. How?

These twin subs are part of Lord Black's inner slave circle at The Black Mirror. This technically means any Master/Mistress at the Mirror can chastise them as long as they answer to Lord Black for the reasons of the actions taken against his property. While He would be perfectly reasonable about it (He would even be amused by Doms taking advantage of these two just for the sake of it every now and then...) these rascals have spread the rumor that The Black Mirror's Headmaster would be way less than happy about it. And even have the audacity to be smug about it sometimes.

Furthermore, to those who would dare act against them, first they have to catch them. For these two are not just quick to flee when the wind doesn't blow their way, they also hoard quite a great treasure of a very specific currency. Favors.

Their main activity is to tease and torture other subs and slaves. And they have made an art of showing up just when others are unable to defend themselves. They would have their fun and once done, whenever they're feeling greedy or merciful, face their victims with the choice of being helped and owing a favor or...

This means many a time someone else takes the blame for their dirty deeds. And the other subs know better than to not make good on the favors owned.

For these reasons, their proneness to grab many a trinket they shouldn't have, and the fact that their true names are unknown to anyone except, maybe, Lord Black himself, the couple is widely known as "The Magpies".

Again, not many layers. The first idea when I started with this concept was to not overcomplicate the rendering (you can tell this early ones are way simpler even when I tried to keep a certain level of consistency amongst them). So I pretty much kept collapsing layers as I'm done with them (my usual MO). Still hope you can get some insight from it.

NOTE: As the rendering is so simple and background white is so present on this, I didn't even had to add a color correction layer as I usually do to fix the offset from my Cintiq.

Extra Lore:

- The Magpies are Lord Black's personal Slaves.

By the rules of The Mirror a Slave is a sub with a specific Master/Mistress. Any Dom or Master/Mistress can punish or make use of them as they are Subs, but they would have to respond to their Master/Mistress about the use (or abuse) done to their property. Any Master/Mistress that feels like their property has been misused can plead their case. If the alleged incident happened within The Main Hall, pleas can be made to The Wardens. The High Masters/Mistresses may also hear any plea for The Main Hall, or for their own specific Halls/Domains. Pleas can also be directed to Lord Black directly, should need be.

This means anyone chastising The Magpies will have to answer to Lord Black himself. Thus, those who are not familiar with him or aren't confident in the rules of The Mirror will often avoid to do so in fear of offending The Mirror's Headmaster.

These rascals take full advantage of this fact.

- These two have a habit of taking any odds and trinkets that might catch their eye in any given moment. Given the fact that, when they're not at The Mews causing misery to some poor soul, they linger around Lord Black's quarters, they often end up in possession of particular... devices... they shouldn't be near of. There have been instances of this leading to mishaps, sometimes of arcane nature.

It also means that, if need be, they have access to quite an arsenal of trinkets and instruments for their own amusement (and someone else's misfortune).

- They like to tease and torment anyone they can get their hands on, but they have a specific taste for the forbiden fruit. This means one of their main targets is usually Arik. This also means they would constantly tease Circ, but unlike with the demon, they wouldn't dare make any unsolicited advances on The Housekeeper, but the boy seems to be weak to their charms when caught in the right mood. (This whole game of cat and mouse doesn't resent at all the fact that the twins quite enjoy when Circ gets fed up with their misdeeds and decides to punish them for it... They are subs after all. ^^)
