Dungeon TF Progress report (2023-03-30) + slight tier adjustment

Hey folks,

another week has passed and another progress report is due.

So what have I been up to?

Still, working on the combat system, and got a bit stuck on types and making monsters.
The good news, this is usually the hardest part for me, so that out of the way, it's going to be smoother in general!

Also there will be a character insert YCH announcement later in the post.

I'm re-designing a couple monsters, to make them more distinguished and also add new ones. My goal is to have all the monsters in now, with the base sprites (idle for all directions) done. That way, the hardest part for content is done!

There will also be a type system, which gets refined right now. I talked about that in my last report already. But here is a chart for the type matches

I'd like to have all types represented, but that requires more mobs. But again, I am working on that.
This delays work on the actual combat system a bit, but I still plan to give a new prototype latest mid-April!

Now for the character insert YCH!

I changed the Magician tier slightly, to indicate that these will be accompanied with a Patreon only discount! The amount will depend on the actual YCH, but should be noticeable.

The details for this one are still worked on, but here is the general idea:
I will offer slots for heroes (playable characters), with types assigned to them. People can then buy those slots and fill them with a character of their choice.
For example, you could have your OC fill in the corrupt hero slot.

It will include a complete animation set of game sprites (idle, walk, hurt, defeated, normal attack, special attack, block, affected by status, rubble [for statues]) also for all directions.
If there will be more sprites needed, they will be added of course, as all of them will be used in the game and selectable, through a character select.

The amount of slots will be decided later. Also if not all slots are filled, I am going to go public with the YCH, after about 2 weeks.

Oh and nearly forgot. You will receive a sprite sheet of your own of course.
