So I'm still learning about this rap genre... When a diss rap comes out, does the artist putting it out have to be concerned about saying things that may or may not be true? For example, there are lines in this song that imply that Benzino does coke. I don't know his history, but let's assume for a moment that he doesn't actually do drugs. Would you have to be concerned about him coming back and suing for slander or anything like that? Or is it a general rule that a diss track can contain anything, regardless if it is true or false, and the person it is directed towards either ignores it or responds with another diss track?
