Well, cant say much about Rustle except that he rocks his bars like its nothing. And damn, his punchy delivery is a delight to hear. As for the first character, that was Escanor, The Sin of Pride from the series Seven Deadly Sins and oh boy, he is a good choice to start an OP Rap. The bar with the sun and the light that you mentioned is likely about his skill Cruel Sun where he hits his opponent with a small sun. Just around basket ball sized but stilll.... ^^ Also, he has one of the most awesome lines in the series. On another note, as you said, there are quite a lot who view anime (and game) based raps as.. no real rap or music. Maybe because its seen as childish or to fantasy.. who knows. My thoughts on this are.. music is born from inspiration and the artists passion. Life experiences? Real life events? Just good memories from playing a game? Everything can give that spark that brings music to live. We may not always understand the deeper meaning or get the references but hey... you still can enjoy a good song simply for being good. ^^
