Yessss, please react to Hope world!! :")

Thank you for this knox. Can you please react to J-hope Ego from map of the soul. I have been waiting since you did shadow by suga. Love all your reaction and breakdowns.

Need my glasses as posted this under the post above lol! Thank you so so much for this! I think he did so well! And yeah I agree with the chat about the genre-crossing rock/hip hop takes. Thing with BTS is even though they've moved away from doing solely hip hop songs over the years, they still infuse hip hop into much of what they release because that is their core and the reason why they exist. Of course it's not comparable to the great classic hip hop (I mean in terms of roots, cultures, styles etc). I think the topics BTS talk about fit them and their goal which is to help and inspire others and that they have huge respect for the culture, and definitely know their history. The pictures of him meeting J.Cole are so heartwarming! In a lot of their older 'Bangtan Bombs' (BB is a behind the scenes YT series documenting their journey from day 1, which they did because the K-industry shut them out of having outreach) they're always listening to his music and talking about how amazing he is haha. Sorry went off on a tangent but it was really interesting and fun to see different takes. And ODB!! What a great moment on stage and homage paid! I love Becky G and J.Hope's collab, what a mix of languages and pride for their backgrounds. The way I see the two halves of this show like the chat said is that he is portraying J.Hope in and out of the box. I still think J.Hope as the 'positive entertainer' is a true side to him and still has a lot of freedom (they luckily do with BigHit) which is talked about in his Hopeworld lyrics, but he's definitely more 'freely himself' musically with Jack In The Box. I adore Jack In The Box, it's such a beautiful body of art. Loved this, looking forward to more!!
