This is one of those things that I've been delaying for some time, but I think the time came where it's necessary to have an in-game menu working because I think it's pretty important if I want to start practicing making mission objectives.
This also was a less-productive week for Ryona Assassins, as I, the only dev, had other work to do, and so, less time for the game. But, to show you there's been some progress despite that, I'm making this short update.
What you see here is the pause menu, that shows you the weapons you have picked up, and updates to show you the new weapons you picked up. It will show you more information about the weapon, let you equip it and also will contain other usable items that wont be selectable with the mouse wheel.
The menu pauses the game (of course) and provides a more elegant way to exit to the main menu. In the current builds, pressing Esc instantly takes you to the main menu, closing the current level. Now, Esc opens the menu.
As I mentioned, this menu -specifically, the equipment window- will contain the usable items, in addition to the weapons. I will work on these usable items now before continuing my work with the menus. I'll make one that will be necessary to complete the Dam level.
I think I say this a lot, but thank you again! To the new guys and the old ones. Seeing the amount of patrons grow slowly is such a great feeling. Knowing that people like what you do.
I promised a sex game so long ago, but so far there's none of it! I know. That's why, after this coming Mission 02 build, I'll start working on sex for the game, and some of those kinky mechanics you've been suggesting. Can't wait for that!
