Weekly Schedule
Added 2025-08-25 18:21:10 +0000 UTCDear Patrons,
I hope you had an awesome weekend!
This week will be a full schedule, and in order to catch ROD up to HTG I'm going to try and bring back double chapter days (starting Wednesday). These are not guaranteed, please don't be upset if you only get one that day. Quality is always my primary concern when I write. However, I have blocked double the time for writing now, which means I will be living like a monk for a while and only writing. 😅🍻
Schedule:
Monday: ROD x 1
Tuesday: HTG x 1
Wednesday: ROD x 2
Thursday: HTG x 1
Friday: ROD x 2
Saturday: HTG x 1
Sunday: Edits Book one HTG.
For those in HTG feeling like it's not fair ROD will be getting more chapters, I got you. When we reach the Etheria mini-arc for HTG, I should have about 5-10 chapters I will drop on a single day. That should be soonish, depending on where the story takes us, sometimes the story wants to take a detour. After that, I have about 60,000 words from the very first draft that no one has read that may be getting spliced into the story. If I manage to do that, it may be that HTG becomes 50-75 chapters ahead of free release. Possibly more. Those familiar with my writing style know that sometimes I write arcs for the future first when the inspiration strikes, and then bridge the story to it. There's one more in book 5-6 time frame that I have about 40,000 words written for, it's probably my favorite arc I've written for any story. Which means this time next year, HTG will likely be 100 chapters ahead of free release.
ROD, we will get there, but it's going to be a long road, I have 0 words of future arcs written. 💀💀💀
Also if you haven't read ROD or HTG yet, I will be hopefully posting the professionally edited drafts for both in September as two separate pdf docs, so you don't have to scroll through all the old posts to read it.
Anyway, enough rambling, more words coming soon. Should have a ROD chapter up in 4-6 hours from now.
Thank you for your continued support!
Respectfully,
Godric

Thank you for the high praise, I wish I was a machine 💀🤣 I spend a minimum of 6-8 hours a day writing and editing. Some days it’s more than that. As far as insights, I really enjoy a semi methodical approach to writing. Meaning you know where you want the story to go, but you don’t give a rigid structure for it to get there. It lets the story evolve naturally in my opinion, and for me it’s more fun to figure it out along the way. Let’s me enjoy it, like I’m reading it alongside everyone else. HTG is way more methodical / planned than ROD. Both are fun to write, but with ROD it’s a much less rigid framework that allows for exploring different idea easily. Thanks for the questions 🙏🍻
