U/C: The Story Thus Far

UC: The Story Thus Far

by sammig82

Despite hearing it from Ueda-san, this all felt like some kind of dark erotic story written by some twisted individual. Josh/ Satoshi Miller was sitting in a rented room, going over the information which he was trusted with by his mentor. He had been given permission from his superiors at the Interpol to help out the retired detective who had been a good friend of his dad. Ever since their first meeting, Ueda had left a deep impression on him as a wise and intelligent strategist.

Taking out his notebook, he wrote down the details of the case, and what he thought was the trigger of the whole debacle.

It all began with the disagreement between the Aikawa brothers. Before his passing, Aikawa Yamato was the indisputable leader of the Aikawa clan. He was enjoying the full support of his younger sibling, Takeshi as they literally ran the city with their own rules and their way of the Yakuza. When both Yamato and Takeshi lost their sons during a fierce Yakuza war with a rival clan, it affected the each of them differently. For Yamato, he was beginning to rethink his sins as he turned to religion to soothe his wounded soul. It was hatred and vengeance all the way for Takeshi even after he had managed to avenge the death of his son, Tadao.

Years before his passing, Yamato and Takeshi could not see eye-to-eye on the way forward for the clan as the younger brother refused to abandon his way of the Yakuza. Because of that, the leader of Tokyo’s biggest clan announced that his daughter, Aikawa Minami would be the heir of the Yakuza clan. Not only had Yamato denied his brother the opportunity to lead the family but denounced him as a member of the Aikawa clan altogether.

Without protection from the clan, the NPA could no longer look past his wrongdoings. As a result, he and a few loyal to him had to seek refuge elsewhere. That was when they discovered the ‘Cursed Throne’ during their time in Mongolia.

After almost a year of experimentation, Takeshi hatched a grand plan for his return to the helm of the Aikawa clan. Along with the help of his daughter Mayumi’s husband, who was a well-known member of the Russian Bratva, they leaked information to Tokyo’s DEA on a supposed major narcotics deal. The ambush was well-planned as they managed to capture Sato Yui, whom they had been stalking for months. She was the perfect candidate for them to ‘test the water’ with their plan to infiltrate the authorities using their newfound ability. If successful, the lady officer would also be a good opening act for what was going to be the main event. Takeshi’s eldest son, Orochi was thrusted into that position.

Citing PTSD after witnessing the tragic loss of her endearing colleagues, Sato Yui wasn’t herself for the initial few months. Of course, that would be the perfect excuse for Aikawa Orochi to get his act together and gradually blending into Yui’s life. When he was fit to return to work, the former Yakuza put his experience dealing with the cops as well as his own wit to good use. Of course, there were times when he was required to open a few books, but his new identity was already being recognized as a courageous and honorable officer, so that certainly helped her climbed the ranks further.

In the meantime, Takeshi used his son’s position in the Organized Crime Unit to look into Aikawa Minami’s dealings. She had been tenaciously transforming Aikawa clan into a successful Mega Corporation. Takeshi had even ‘ran into’ her during her business trip in Beijing when he once again reminded her that her naïve beliefs would not last for long.

“While I’m impress with what you’ve done with what’s left to you by Yamato, I’m curious to see how long you can maintain it without reverting back to the old ways,” Takeshi said.

Satoshi noted that Takeshi and his men certainly bid their time despite holding on to an insane tool of infiltration. It took them five years before their next move which could be explained by the limitation of the ‘Cursed Throne’. The fact that it only worked on women meant that they had to rely on Sato Yui’s position and influence to increase the numbers of the fairer gender in the police force. Hence, the fruition of the Police Academy for the Girls (PAG).

Prior to setting up the PAG, Takeshi got the lucky break his rogue camp needed. He had been keeping their eyes on Aikawa Minami for quite a while with his youngest and presumably, the smartest among them, Yuki was studying her every move. With her being heavily protected by a team of bodyguards led by the indomitable Natsumoto Kenji, they were quite surprised when she had reached out to Takeshi for a talk.

Ueda-san wasn’t quite sure how, but that was probably when Aikawa Yuki had replaced the lovely CEO of Aikawa Corps. Takeshi could have taken her place himself, but Satoshi presumed that his conservative thinking had him holding out longer to realize his grand scheme – the 69-year-old wanted to rise to the top as himself, not as someone else. And he would want to clear his name and be seen as an honorable and free man despite his devious past.

Takeshi and some of his men were in Spain when he found out about some unwelcomed intel. His eldest son, Orochi as the lovely Chief of the Organized Crime Unit got wind of the police planting undercovers among his and Minami’s members even before her rise to the position. They had managed to rat out one of them after replacing the young and upcoming Hikaru Miki with Goto, one of Takeshi’s longest serving and most loyal members.

However, the rogue Yakuza leader had been aware that there were more than a rat in the family. His plans would be in jeorpady if he could not get rid of these threats once and for all. Forced into the guise of an attractive foreign woman, Takeshi returned home to initiate the next phase of his plan himself. Tucked away in a quiet town of Kawagoe, a group of unscrupulous men began studying the girls currently enrolled in the Academy.

It gave Satoshi chills to find that a large number of innocent women would soon be replaced. It would have been a mass infiltration into the police force if no one was going to do anything about it. Depending on the reversibility of the skinning effect, it might as well be a massacre. The only thing on Ueda-san and the police side was the limitation that Aikawa Takeshi would be facing. With only the sole ‘magic chair’ available at his disposable, as well as the numbers of victims targeted, it would have been impossible for the wanted leader to replace everyone in the maiden class of the girl’s academy before the authorities started closing in.

“Catching one would have been nice. But my experience in the field told me that it will not stop the rot,” Ueda-san said to Satoshi.

“That was why you’ve been waiting patiently,” Satoshi remembered saying.

“Somehing tells me that they have more in their arsenal than we thought. One of my informants seems to think so. I think it’d be wise of us to wait in the bush until they’ve revealed all they’ve got before we pounce,” Ueda-san said.

“What about Otani-senpai? He appeared to be onto something as well,” Satoshi said.

Otani Shin was the 39-year-old Chief Investigator of the Homicide Unit looking into the apparent suicide of Kubo Yoshiro. His involvement alone showed that the police could not rule out foul-play leading up to the Cybercrime officer’s leap from his 11th storey apartment. Otani was adamant that he was thrown out of the building, and the Yakuza was involved. That was around the time after Hikaru Miki was replaced at Sato Yui’s place of residence.

“I’ve set up a meeting with Otani-san. I’ll need you to be there when I revealed everything to him,” Ueda-san had said.

“Why?”

“So that I wouldn’t sound like a demented old man,” the elderly man said.

Satoshi could relate. It was already hard enough for him to digest such intels revealed to him initially. To have a retired officer in his 70s telling it would be a monumental task despite Ueda-san’s legendary reputation in the force. Satoshi wrote the date down in his notebook.

He was exhausted and seriously considering to get himself some sleep. But still, he couldn’t stop thinking about Catalina. He wondered why he wasn’t turned off by the revelation of who she really was, or at least, the person controlling her body. That personality was undoubtedly Takeshi’s, but he was playing the part of a lovely Spainish tourist so flawlessly. Was he into men as well, or did the skin altered his sexuality while he was wearing her. These questions would go unanswered for now as he went over the information of Aikawa Takeshi’s family once more before drifting off to sleep.

Takeshi’s sons:

1.  Aikawa Orochi - 48 years old, married with 2 children. Knew his wife was cheating on him with Yasushi.

2.  Aikawa Yasushi - 45 years old, married and divorced. Having affair with Orochi’s wife. Not trusted by his own father. Trying to prove his loyalty to the family.

3.  Aikawa Tadao - 40 years old, killed by rival Yakuza. Son of second marrriage.

4.  Aikawa Mayumi - 37 years old, only daughter. From second marriage. Married to Russian Bratva family and stayed overseas.

5.  Aikawa Yuki - 28 years old son from Takeshi’s latest marriage.  Graduated from a prominent Business school. Hence his father’s choice to replace Minami. Great relationship with Takeshi, always deemed to be the smartest in the family, second only to Orochi. His knowledge in the corporate world is unrivalled.
