For years, many of you have asked for angels—celestial warriors to descend from the heavens of Mundus, bringing divine justice and radiant power to your tables. We’re thrilled to finally unveil The Malakim, a project I'm working on currently that is been both a labor of love and a creative experiment that bridges the familiar realms of fantasy with the possibilities of a distant future.
As always, you can expect the level of care and dynamic design that Artisan Guild is known for, but this time, there's a twist. 🚀

Malak Vindicator D, Kit I and Kit II.
When designing the Malakim, I wanted to give them the majestic presence of divine, ascended warriors—angels whose might and presence inspires awe.
However, as the requests for angels have continued over the years, I’ve also noticed the growing interest in something that could go beyond the borders of classic fantasy: the echoes of a distant, almost mythological future.
This is where the concept of Gun and Sorcery was born.
A realm not limited by time—a distant echo of Mundus, where magic and divine powers intertwines with technology, a far-off epoch that retains the soul of classic fantasy while exploring new depths of what warriors like the Malakim could be in a distant future.
The modular nature of this set, the same modularity that characterize my sculpts. let you choose how your Malakim take the field:
For the fantasy purists, we’ve provided a full array of holy melee weapons, from double bladed swords to hammers and shields. The classic angelic wings are there too, spreading light and inspiration, coming in various shapes compatible with the full unit.
For those intrigued by the vision of a distant, possible future, we’ve created options like the Fulgur Castigum Gun, abbreviated to Fulgur Gun and Fulgur Pistol and the Reliquarium Backpacks. These backpacks, that you can use instead of wings, carry the remains of these holy warriors before their ascendence to sacred Malak, symbolizing the blend of technology and reverence, of gun and sorcery.
I wanted each Malak to be both timeless and adaptive. The helmet options, for example, come in a style that can be interpreted as either sacred or futuristic, allowing for total freedom in how these warriors fit into your vision of Mundus—or even beyond.
On top of that, if you are not interested in wings or reliquarium backpack, and want to use them as mortal champions, no problem: I'm including little socket filler to close the gap of the armor in the back. These will make for fantastic Requiem Vindicators in both their version with and without helmet.

Malak D, Kit I using Wings and two handed maul, Kit II from the distant future wielding a Fulgur Castigum Gun and a Reliquarium Backpack.
Each of these elements is designed to be fully modular: Helmet or not, wings or backpack, sword, hammer or rifle—you decide. This was done to ensure that the Malakim can be what you want them to be, have tons of fantasy options as always, and something more.
Purely fantasy warriors, descending upon the enemies of Mundus.
Or perhaps, sci-fi infused champions, embodying a distant, forgotten legacy.
🪽Who are the Malakim?
The Malakim are the ascended warriors of Sol, bound to serve within Ghaomir’s Shattered Aetherium, a crumbling realm of divine justice and radiant ruins born after his defeat. When Ghaomir fell to the treachery of Tialevor, Sol the Holiest was left as the guardian of this broken celestial prison.
There, the Malakim, the ascended spirits of the most valorous warriors of Mundus, often Dragonpeaks Barbarian and Requiem Templar, train eternally amidst the floating ruins, awaiting the call to defend the sanctity of creation and the holy place where their Lord is regenerating through the prayers of his believers. Empowered by Ghaomir’s blessing and guided by Sol’s unwavering spirit, they bring order and justice in realms beyond the boundaries of the mortal realms.

This project has opened my mind to the idea that the story of Mundus doesn’t have to be confined to one era. Could there be a distant future, shrouded in myth? A future where warriors still hold the ideals of the past but march forward with new tools and new challenges? Could this be the origin of what we call Gun and Sorcery?
It’s an idea worth exploring from time to time, when the theme of the release suits the concept, but always, without limiting the fantasy possibilities of each set. Only bonuses, nothing to lose.
As you might imagine, I'm still working hard on the set and not even half of it is sculpted.
I'll do my best to bring more exciting sculpts and modular option as I continue designing these inspiring characters!
Which version will you choose?
Thank you for all the support and requests over the years—it’s your passion that keeps me pushing the boundaries of what we can create together. 🌟
