Join the Vanguard in June

Hello friends!
You are invited to turn on the audio and click play in the trailer above!
Next month, in june be prepared for a massive set of incredible fighters, featuring tons of weapon options and amazing mounts.
It's since long time that I wanted to bring some new knights to your table.

The Fighters Guild, Better than Ever

Inspired by the legacy Fighters Guild set, published in 2019, the Vanguard Fighters Guild is a totally new set of modular proud warrior clad in medieval armor whose quality is even better, suited for the now more advanced 3d printers, capable of printing minis much more detailed.

Flying Wyverns...

But as the threat of Mundus have grown, this Fighter's Guild needs something more than horses and blades. After an expeditions in the unforgiving Dragonpeaks, the Fighters Guild of Vanguard will ride Wyverns!
As requested many many times, we did for the first time ever flight stand for three of the wyverns, which come as standalone beasts useful as monsters or beastly compaions, or fierce mounts compatible with any other set.

...and Horses

We know that horses are staple in these kind of set, so we decided to bring the horses of the Fighters Guild back as free throwback extra minis. We want to remember you that any other horses made by us (Northmen Saga horses, Thieves Guilds steed, Requiem Warhorses or even unded horses from Oldburg Fallen Ones) are totally compatible with them.

Two Epic Bosses

As I announced in our Discord channel, this month I couldn't decide which Epic Mount make for the epic boss slot. Unicorn, Pegasus, a mix of both, or even a Wyvern Queen would be great options... so I ended up making both!
The terrible Wyvern Queen is coming in multypart to fit your printer, both with and without saddle, so you can use it as epic boss monstruosities or colossal mount for your generals.
And what about the Pegacorn...Unisus... well that thing?

The Pinup of the Month

While we wanted to have a carismatic Battlemage for one of the heroes, I wanted to sculpt a powerful veteran warrior for the heroine of the month. So we had a perfect fitting role for the beauty of the month, Genevieve: a charming enchantress, Lady of the Lake.
But I felt that she would be great riding... an unicorn... or a pegasus?
Meet Lady Genevieve of the Enchaned lake in all its beauty, coming in two version (regular, with an elegant enchantress dress, and pinup), and also coing separated from the Celestial Steed, so you can actually place her anywhere.

But on day 25 I realized that some of you would surely want a standing version of her too, in both regular and pinup version. So I actually made a standing version of Genevieve, perfect for your wargames, including GUILDS, where mount and knight comes in different cards and you can decide whenever to ride the war beasts.

a work in progress of the first sculpt, where all started.

This has been an amazing month, and I hope you'll like what I sculpted so far.
I can't wait to see how you'll paint the new Vanguard Fighters, coming 2nd June!

Cheers!

Andrea

Honestly love your work, been an on and off sub for years now

jay knight

Human rangers when? 👀

Tom Fossell

Just finished the Pegasus Pin-up. Absolutely love it. I plan to mix her with another mount to make an interesting one. I love how versatile all your stuff is!

Raymond Hedges

Amazing work as always but some supports for those models are a pain in the a** to remove without breaking weapon and minis. Compared to other releases the supports on this Set are not that great. My observation was that at least no offense.

Georgios Tsatsamis

This is one of my favorite releases! It perfectly fits a need I had which was to increase unit diversity for a faction I was using the original fighter's guild to fulfill! Thanks so much! Unrelated: do you have a plan to do more giants in the future? I'd love to see the core giant types from DnD all done in your style. I'm also curious if you'll ever do more Final Fantasy inspired releases. More races from Ivalice like Seeq and Viera, more classic summons like Shiva and Ramuh, and chocobo-like mounts all come to mind.

Matt Davis

Thank you!!

Artisan Guild

Just love this month models, Adrea. This is great!

icearrow games

Amazing! I'm happy to hear that :)

Artisan Guild

They're amazing, I was in need of something I could use as Templar order in my campain, and these are absolutely stuning. You've done a great job !

Zdeněk Dejdar

the files are not available yet, they should be in a couple of days.

Matthieu Wisniewski

i just joined to get the files i dont know how to get them, pls help

Alejandro Estrada

Yas - dragons! I'll take more of those for upcoming rewards, please!

Rasmus Bækgaard

As an idea, it would be nice to make each month a topic: for example, in your birthday month, dwarves (always!!), in June, humans, after that elves, orcs, monsters, and so on and so forth...

Bernat Rovira Lastra

Thanks! True with the Oliphant, the most similiar thing I did was a Mammoth in April :)

Artisan Guild

Thank you so much! Can't wait to see the paintjobs!

Artisan Guild

Thank you so much!

Artisan Guild

You are right Viacheslav, and often choosing the best balance between dynamism to rapresent an idea and strenght is not easy. The Horses are a "throwback" mount extra kit that has been done several years ago, when I was less experienced.

Artisan Guild

Thanks Markus!

Artisan Guild

Thank you François! Ani, who do the presentation pictures, spent hours to find a way to fit them all without making them too small! :)

Artisan Guild

Thank you so much for your comment!

Artisan Guild

Enough Bernat! Thank you :)

Artisan Guild

Thanks Matthieu!

Artisan Guild

Thank you Mansonian!

Artisan Guild

We are testing it now, if something can be improved we do that right away :)

Artisan Guild

That's amazing, thanks for your comment :)

Artisan Guild

Thanks Brian! There's not a version without hat, however there are 3+ ladies in the modular with similiar heavy armor.

Artisan Guild

Thank you! We often make monsters, it's great to sculpt them :) But humans are also staple in fantasy settings.

Artisan Guild

Thanks Andrew! I'm happy you both enjoy the hobby together!

Artisan Guild

Thanks Ryan!

Artisan Guild

Requiem Brotherhood (templars) had a huge big flail, you could use the standalone version :)

Artisan Guild

Ty!

Artisan Guild

Thanks John!

Artisan Guild

It would be great if we could recycle resin! Thank you :)

Artisan Guild

Almost out :)

Artisan Guild

That's my thought, humans are very prominent in most fantasy settings :)

Artisan Guild

Thank you :)

Artisan Guild

That's fantastic, Santi!

Artisan Guild

Amazing Jeff! Post some pictures of your painted minis

Artisan Guild

Thank you Mini!

Artisan Guild

I love the busts. If you keep going with them, I'm definitely going to build a dragon chess set with them. With this set we are half way done already :D the only piece you have not yet modelled as an actual miniature is an Oliphant type of creature.

Shadowhawk1530 .

I can already tell this is going to be an amazing release

Daniel Jay

Holy crap! You've absolutely smashed it out of the park again! That battlemage is cool! Those wyvern! This is fantastic, thank you!

SteveWasEre

Simply awesome!

Grimbeard

Great set. But it seems to me that making horses with only one small point of attachment to the base is a very bad idea. They will not be able to survive any transportation.

Viacheslav Pastushuk

The wyvern rider is just AWESOME

Markus Richert

You struggled to include all of it in a single image... this set is simply amazing. And i'll reiterate : i love the fact that you are including scatter terrain regularly in your sets.

François Marchant

You outdid yourself, great job.

Matthieu Marino

There's a decent flail in release 56 Rodburg Cultist of Melmora. You could adapt it into a bigger 2h flail pretty easily.

Jay R

Andrea, this is truly amazing. Best set ever!!! Just one question... This set is huge, how many hours did you slept this month??? Take care of yourself!!!

Bernat Rovira Lastra

Woaw ! Awesome set ! Thank you !!

Matthieu Wisniewski

O.M.G !!! favourites ever?

Mansonian

I love it when the mounts double as amazing monsters. I'm not sure about the flight stands with the resin I'm using because it can be a bit brittle, but I'm sure I'll find a solution for that.

Erik

These are awesome!! I’m a fan of the original Fighters Guild, and always like getting human minis. I don’t play D&D, and get a lot more use out of “low fantasy” minis. Wyverns and feathered unicorn are fantastic, though!

B. Griffith

That looks amazing! I have to ask though, is there a version of Marika without the headgear, as there is for all the other units? If not, I understand. Regardless, I can't wait!

Brian Roger

Great work as always, though I'm hoping soon you guys turn your attention to monsters mote than just regular people. You can only do it for so long before you got dups of each race.

AggressiveMonky

My wife collects dice, I collect Minis. I need all of these! Recently printed and painted the first set. Well done, just amazing.

Andrew Welch

These look great! Keep up the amazing work =)

Ryan Woodroof

Great looking set, but oh how I wish one of them had a big two handed flail as a weapon. Is there a previous set with that that I can weapon swap?

Tim Leach

Amazing!!

Kip

Awesome, great set, so many uses.

John O'Brien

Guys I can’t afford all this damn resin… keep it up, please! 🙌🏻

M Rich

Want... Now... PLS!!! lol Great looking set!

Rob Clark

You can never have enough humans while running adventures at the sword coast and this set ist stunning. Can't wait to start printing and painting.

Michael Schulze Althoff

This set looks epic

William West

I would expect nothing less. Lol. But really these are all so exciting!

Raymond Hedges

This looks amazing. Saw some potential characters for my future games and some airborne raiders with the wyverns. Great release

Santi DeRosa

Holy crap, these models are awesome! I'm excited to print and paint these.

Jeff Strand

This was the second edition I was looking forward too! Cant believe the quantity of models in this release while still being at your amazing quality - and perfect throwback bust! Love how you've expanded the busts to include the monsters/creatures and standard units too! Awesome awesome stuff, all I can say is, thank you!! Great to see those horses come back but with the updated riders, the wyverns were a surprise, as was the mounted pinup (which btw is awesome standalone hero character let alone pinup) so much to say, such a great set :D!

Mini Manatee

We have secrets informators!

Artisan Guild

Thank you Patrick! I always try my best in the short amount of time.

Artisan Guild

Thank you Eric!

Artisan Guild

Thanks Mercurius! She's an enigmatic character, a sort of witch of the wild, that's why she don't use shoes :)

Artisan Guild

Gracias, Erik! Falta poquito!

Artisan Guild

hahaha, I don't envy your party :)

Artisan Guild

I absolutely love it!!! Also the halberd welder in the first batch is exactly my D&d fighter so you also magic! Awesome set!!!

Raymond Hedges

Thank you, Jess!

Artisan Guild

Another month of terrific models that will take way more than a month to print and paint. You are spoiling us with quality AND quantity.

Patrick Odell

I've been a member since the original fighters guild set was released. I'm excited to see this new take on them and possibly mixing the sets.

Eric Jackson

Look terrific. The pinup dressed version works really well as a general character model (if only she had shoes) and the rest look pretty cool.

Mercurius

Tremenda release madre mía! Deseando imprimirlos 😊

Erik Bermudo

Outstanding set man! As always you do great work! Can't wait to get these on the table and beat the.... errrr.. . I mean... to introduce them to the party. 😄

Hardcleave

Human fighters are pretty neat and always useful ... But all those mounts! Gorgeous!
