Trailer of March

Hey Adventurers, Collectors, Merchants, and curious followers!
The wait is finally over, and the trailer for the March miniatures is here!

For the first time, we're shaking things up with our monthly releases, keeping it fresh and inspiring for all!

Introducing the Adventure Set

Occasionally, instead of our usual lineup of minis featuring heroes of the same race, perfect for both wargamers and RPG enthusiasts, I'll be sculpting an Adventure Set.
These sets will contain everything you need to ignite your imagination and create unforgettable tabletop adventures.

Within these sets, you'll discover brave adventurers (taking up the Heroes and Pinup slots), intriguing monsters and foes (filling the Modular Unit and Extra Unit slots), and fearsome Antagonists (occupying the Epic Boss slot).
I can't say exactly how often we'll release these sets, but as many of you know, it's essential for me to work on projects that truly excite me.
And I was incredibly excited to bring these miniatures to life for our latest adventure.

The Origin of "Raid at the Temple of Ifrit"

Around a month ago, I found myself bursting with ideas about the Elemental Monarchs — beings of immense power who once dared to challenge the Lords of Mundus themselves. They reigned as tyrants and demigods until their hubris became their downfall, and the divine punished them, sealing them within their planar temples and cursing them to be bound to gemss (as Djinn lamps).

These gems could be possessed by extraordinary mortals brave enough to find and defeat the monarchs' temples. While such feats are likely the stuff of legend, the adventure begins with you. I would love to hear about your sessions exploring the planar realms, discovering hidden temples, and defeating a Monarch to summon them in battle! Whether you're playing an existing tabletop rpg or eagerly awaiting our official RPG (coming soon!), these miniatures and their stories are sure to add excitement to your gaming experience.

Expanding our previous sets

This set, apart being inspired from an adventure, also act as expansion for previous sets, as many supporters have requested during the last months.

Stay tuned, as this set will go live for our supporters on day 2 of March!

Not sure about supporting us yet? Check out our Vanguard minis, free stl of each set from the past few months.
The next one will be arriving soon!

Adventure awaits!

Andrea

Comments

I like the inclusion of the rock slate. Decors are a welcome touch in the monthly pack.

François Marchant

Thank you, Miklos!

Artisan Guild

Wauw. Gorgeous set. Love the epic boss & busts.

Miklos de Rijk

This release is a weird one for me, I have mixed feelings. I absolutely love the inclusion of the fire monsters, Ifrit, and the heroes, but in a set centered around Ifrit, the kobolds feel so disjointed (and I'll be honest, I hate the ears). This could have been a slam-dunk for some salamanders, fire giants, efreeti, Azer, something of that nature. Also, the only female model in the whole set and not a single version of her attire *not* centered around the male gaze?

Andrew Boggs

Not at all, is great to have all kind of opinion :)

Artisan Guild

In this kind of set being free to chose who will be the perfect pinup was very good. A half succubus half alfar suits perfectly the role and her attire is justified by her background :)

Artisan Guild

Will you be doing more FF summons and races? Would love to see the Viera, Seek, Ivalice-style Moogles, etc. plus Ifrit seems lonely without Shiva, Ramuh, Odin, Titan, Leviathan, Garuda, Bahamut, and the whole gang lol.

Matt Davis

Perhaps too clever.

Justin Henley

Another great release. I remember AG saying I think in a turtle-based set that adding a pinup felt inaccurate to lore of the turtlefolk. Clever that you added a hero character to be the pinup.

Justin Henley

Sorry if I came across too critical, I love your minis, this set just wasn’t for me.

Anthony Krieman

Thank you Rob! That's was exactly my idea, each character will perfectly fit a specific release, with the Orc being a student of Golemmar Gnome as you'll see in the Lore in the webpage, Drake being a rogue with a past in the thieves guild, the mezzalfiend lady being from City of Intrigues, as the Kobolds, who are mercenaries and thieves from the City of Intrigues release. Cheers!

Artisan Guild

Thanks Santi! Well the Heroes are modular, as always :)

Artisan Guild

Thanks Martin!

Artisan Guild

Thank you so much! I'm glad you like the Kobolds, I really love them!

Artisan Guild

Thank you so much Scott! This is one of the first thing I sculpted this month, It took so many days!

Artisan Guild

Thank you Marko! I think that with some proper palette even Drake the rogue can look like a fire genasi, and well, her partner being an half succubus would look cool with a fiery palette :)

Artisan Guild

Thank you so much my friend! I'm happy you like them :)

Artisan Guild

Thanks for your point of view Anthony! This set apart from being story-driven, it's also an expansion of several set we did in the past. Dumak the Orc is for the Golemmar Gnomes faction, as he is an artificier who have studied with them many years. The Pinup is actually the very first Mezzalfiend pinup after 2 mezzalfiend releases. Drake is a rogue who have a past in the thieves guild with clear Eldanar city (Arcanist Guild) attire, and apart from the 3 heroes, the Kobold are modular unit with endless possibilities, perfect to mix with other armies we did in the past (they can be mercenaries in various desert factions). I really love the Desert setting, and I started this set imagining how would be attired some Kobolds working as mercenaries and thieves in the infamous City of Intrigues (Desert of Denmora). That's how I come up with dressed Kobolds.

Artisan Guild

Thank you Matt! I really have cool memories of Ivalice!

Artisan Guild

Thank you Raymond! The Pinup is half succubus, but with a fiery palette she will looks like a half fire demon!

Artisan Guild

Thank you Lee! April will be certainly in the usual style, as 99% of the releases :) Cheers

Artisan Guild

Thank you so much! I'm happy that you like them!

Artisan Guild

THANK YOU SO MUCH GUILLERMO! I really appreciate your kind word! I hope you'll find good use for this set, as standalone kit or even as expansion for some previous set :)

Artisan Guild

I'd love to make them one day!

Artisan Guild

Hello Erik! Well, all heroes are modular, Kobold are modular too and even Ifrit have balljoint wrists :) This set, is also meant to be an expansion to several old set we did.

Artisan Guild

Thanks Rich! Well the pinup is a heroine too! Being a halfdemon whose demon part is a succubus, her attire make sense :)

Artisan Guild

Thanks Vincenzo!

Artisan Guild

Thanks for your perspective Hellvlad! This set, is also meant to be an expansion to several old set we did. Dumak the Orc is for the Golemmar Gnomes faction, as he is an artificier who have studied with them many years. The Pinup is actually the very first Mezzalfiend pinup after 2 mezzalfiend releases. I hope this may inspire you!

Artisan Guild

I would love a pirates set as well! :D

TechnicalError

I encourage experimentation with releases. Do whatever inspires you, AG. Staying in a creative straight-jacket will only hurt your work in the long run. Not everything has to be a complete wargame army. For the Guilds game, this bundle could always be expanded upon later to convert it to a full army. And for people using AG minis for other wargames, they're going to pick and choose from the release what works with THEIR particular ruleset. 'Adventure Module' style releases are also a nifty way to revisit old factions without devoting an entire month to them. "Here's an RPG scenario, but it doubles as a new hero or unit for Army X"

Rob Silvester

Absolutely love this release as I do all your releases. The fire demon will be an awesome boss fight at my d&d table. The fire elementals are so cool in that style. Love the look of the kobolds (some winged ones would have been great but not necessary). As others have stated more modular hero types would be very welcome but I can patiently wait for those. Great release as always

Santi DeRosa

Love the fireball / elementals. Very different and novel.

Martin Dickson

I don't mind that you're trying something new. Your sculpts are ALWAYS amazing. As someone who doesn't play D&D and thinks a lot of the standard D&D designs are boring (and dumb, shhh!), I'm liking your interesting kobold guys, and everything else!

B. Griffith

Man, I think you've out done yourself with the Ifrit sculpture! So much detail and character! Incredible work my friend!

Scott Stuart

While I like this month's models, I must say I was hoping for something else. When I first saw the preview of the rogue hero, I was excited because I thought we would finally be getting some half-elemental / genasi models. This month's theme was perfect for fire genasi. Other than that small disappointment, I like the models. Heroes are good, epic boss and fire spirits are also great. I must say I like your old version of the kobolds a bit more than this months, but they are nice none the less. I still hope we get genasi models in the future. Keep the good work.

Marko

Awesome set! Cool to see a range of different types of models all tied together by a theme :) - Those elementals are great! and the paint job on Ifrit is amazing!! So happy to see painted versions consistently showing up in these trailers <3 Oh Also great to the 'standard modular' troops get a showing in the busts range!

Mini Manatee

Not a fan of this month, kobolds in clothing is just… odd. The heroes are a bit generic. I like the orc (though the idea of an orc artificer is weird), and I really like the epic boss, but that’s pretty much it. Really disappointed.

Anthony Krieman

I would be down for more Final Fantasy inspired stuff. The boss is clearly inspired by the Ifrit summon and those Kobolds are 1,000,000% Bangaa from the Ivalice setting.

Matt Davis

I love the idea. I generally use the minis just for hobby painting and there's a lot here for that. I won't lie I was hoping for a fire based pin-up but the one is also awesome. Hope to actually see more in the fire realm.

Raymond Hedges

I would have to agree with some other comments about this months release, in that I prefer the previous style of releases, sorry. I especially enjoy the mounted infantry sculpts. However I am aware that it must be difficult to remain motivated to do similar things each month. Look forward to seeing Aprils video, hopefully in the older style. Keep up the good work

Lee James

Now, we'll be waiting for similar bosses from other elemental planes! Air, Water, Earth... or even Light, Darkness, Metal...

Cydalone

Love the Final Fantasy vibe! Even the kobalds look like they're FF 12 inspired. Hope we get Shiva and others FF summons in the future!

Whiskeyjack

O…M…G… How do you do this? Every month you delivery quality designs full of inspiration for painting and gaming. I am so grateful and appreciative of your work, talent and dedication. Keep working on what inspires you and what makes you happy. That is the secret to success. If you try to make designs with the goal of pleasing others you will loose yourself and your individual style and create designs that fall flat. The reason we love your designs is because you love them. I am so glad you are making these figures. I have lost so much money on failed kickstarters for minis from companies and creators that have no idea what they are doing or have just run away with backers money. Now when I see a new mini kickstarter I stop myself, go to MyMiniFactory and get a previous AG set that I don’t have. I would rather give you my money and support your creativity because of your integrity. I love this set and love the idea of elemental lords, I always incorporate some form elemental story line in my rpg games. Now you got me excited for the other three prime elements and what those heroes will look like. I can also use these heroes as solos for wargaming, as they charge the battlefield inspiring the other units to rally! The entire set is amazing, but my favorite is the rogue hero. He fits the archetype of the charismatic rogue or bard aesthetic, so much I can do with him and all the modular pieces from previous sets. I can’t praise you enough!

Guillermo Gonzalez

I really like them! and incorporating different heroes seems like a good idea to add more variety. However, I miss more spirits or fire elementals instead of kobolds (the Bom ones are great!), and the pinup thought it would be about a new race that would bring more models (male and female).

Eggman-sama

Pirates next? 👀

Jérémy Guay

Observation and input, not criticism: while I completely use your miniatures for tabletop role-playing games, I don't think this is a very strong set. The choice to go with three relatively static adventures as opposed to a group of modular infantry of the same species might not be the right way to go. also the lack of variety is less AG than I’m used to. Really missing the standard AG format this month. That being said, all of the models are still excellently crafted and the design of the big boss is amazing.

Erik Watts

Cool set! I like the epic boss a lot and I think I might print him for an adventure. I feel it should have 3 heroes to really round it out

Rich DiLorenzo

🔥🔥🔥👏👏👍🙂

Vincenzo Gatta

Not for me. There is nothing here for wargaming. So many creators do this format. Sorry. I understand you jump on projects that get you excited, but I have no use for this stuff

Hellvlad

We will have some more! :)

Artisan Guild

Thank you! Can't wait to make more adventurers!

Artisan Guild

Thank you!

Artisan Guild

The Infernal Spirit is totally detonating :)

Artisan Guild

Thanks Aaron!

Artisan Guild

Thank you so much!

Artisan Guild

I thought it was about to blow fire, but I like your idea also!!

Bernat Rovira Lastra

Looks great! I would love more sets of modular random adventurers.

Mathew Myers

Love this idea and can't wait to see more of what you create. Your releases are such a treat and I look forward to them every month!

Quiet_Lamp

Love it!

BarelyA Survivor

For a minute there I got the impression this set would contain a PDF adventure. Honestly that would have been pretty cool. Also that one Infernal Spirit looks like he ate one of the Kobolds before realizing he can't swallow it because he doesn't have a body.

Erik

Looks great!!

Aaron

Love the set and really like the adventurers!
