March is almost over and I finally ended the last sculpt for coming next month.

As you might know, Dwarves are my favourite figures, and I always try to make one set of them each year. April is my birthday and I really wished to make some new cool dwarves from scratch: the earliest had been made with so much less experience in modeling.
I thought making something I really wish for would make things easier, as I was almost burn out of sculpting, but wow... with personal expectations so high and so few days in a month, this has been a really crazy ride, I lost track of how many hours I sculpted each day and how many lunches and dinner I skipped.
But it looks like it was worth it: I made a worthy set of Dwarves, and to me they are totally enough to compete with my previous Lok-Badar Defender , the evil Dumloks (Black Flame Dwarves) and the Dwarven Oathbreaker (one of my favourite faction).
I want to mention that making Dwarves I didn't used previous resources on purpose, you'll not see recycled sculpts or decorations from the previous sets.
THE DWARVES OF SKUTAGAARD
The proud dwarven people of the frozen lands of Skutagaard are known for their stubbornness and courage, a highly customizable set of models that will enrich any adventure. Will you lead them to honorable battles?
Skutagaard, one of the major regions of our universe, located in the mortal realms of Rotvar, is a totally inhospitable places where proud people live in costant conflicts with Dragons, Wyrms, Trolls (you find them in the current release) and the evil forces of the Lich Lord, the Frostmetal Clan.
These Dwarves, unlike the one of Lok-Badar, are costantly going out of the mountain to find resources and hunt, being in costant struggle with Trolls and Giants. Their deeds are sung in the welcoming Hunter Lodge, mead rooms where the dwarves, the free men and elves of Skutagaard warm their heart from the icy winds.
This Set will be released on day 2 of the next month, and if things are going as planned we will launch on Tribe too in the same week.

2022-03-28 12:31:24 +0000 UTCNot always. Been a few with just clothes and a few just nude. March for instance had no clothes. All the dwarven sets other than the dark dwarves have clothes, though the barmaid came with and without a skirt.

2022-03-27 20:16:12 +0000 UTCAlso happy with the spears as my Dwarven contingent for my Oathmark army is currently mostly Artisan Guild Dwarves shrunk down about 82% to make them roughly 28 mm scale (for anyone interested the Vampire glaives from a few sets ago look to fit in the dark dwarves hands when I shrink the dwarves down by the 82 % but don't shrink the vampire hands. However I have yet to test this physically. It just looks right in the slicer)

Also great work on giving dwarves spears,like as much as I like axe wielding dwarves their reach is already so compromised that spears make most sense for them to use.

2022-03-26 13:54:11 +0000 UTCI was all set to just be down on this, because I don't wind up using dwarves much and I probably have enough unless they're a bit more samurai-like for my setting's purposes, but then you had a whole group of both male and female dwarves wearing those masks, and I legitimately have a female dwarf wearing a mask very similar to those in art for my campaign setting, so you've sold me on it.

There’s no such thing as female Dwarves in the world I play in, so this release is half as big for me and I’m still REALLY looking forward to it! (I do seriously appreciate how you try to make as many females as males in your releases!)

These dwarves are so different from your previous ones, they each have even more character and your own style to them, I love them! And I also agree with everyone saying to take some time off! I love the different flavor and spin you put on their armor and weapons (especially that bow) is so cool and still feels dwarven. Before the oathbreakers were my favorite set, by these guys now have stolen that crown!
