Meet the Dumlok Flameseekers! Coming in May!

Greetings Adventurers and Merchants! And hello to every other follower who's hanging around ^^
The video trailer is finally live!
It has been a really hard month but in the end we managed to make it in time to do some testprinting. The new sculpts are really exciting, and it's a theme that was planned since the very beginning of Artisan Guild.

Meet the Dark Flame Dwarves!
The Dumlok Flameseekers Set will be available during May 2021 from day 2. We can't really wait to see what you'll do with this ancient race of dwarves of the depths, who draw their power from the fiery core of the planet.
We made sure that you can use these guys and gals for multiple purpose, from berserkers to chaos dwarves and duergars... and even azers (or small fire giants?)!
Our color choice will probably an array of dark ashes for the skin, and flaming hot beards and eyes, but please do as you wish, we are really excited for your prints and paintings.

We will update this post with the lore for the Dark Flame Dwarves really soon.
Thanks for your patience this month, sculpting had been really tough.
Now feel free to turn on the audio and enjoy the trailer above!

Have a great day!

When can we download them?

These are absolutely stunning! I cannot wait to print out a whole clan!

Mike j McWilliams

The dynamic poses of these are going make a freaking sweet Blood Bowl chaos dwarfs team!

Stu Stevenson

I agree, however I was truly inspired to make them this month. There will be surely no more dwarves for at least a year. We have 12 sets per year, so expect some more variety :) in the end this was also the perfect chance to do those lava gorgon bulls :)

Artisan Guild

I'm not wanting to sound like I am complaining. These models are beautiful. But this is the 3rd set of dwarves. Are we going to get to vote in polls again anytime soon? Or perhaps see some different models? The skeletons were great, you could expand with zombies, ghosts, and mummies. You could expand the demons set by adding celestials. I am a huge fan of hound archons. I love the troubles in tavern set that is a heroic adventurer group of random folk. There would always be more options for a set like that. You could do sets of dangerous animals, like wolves and werewolves or gnolls and hyenas. There's a dozen different golems that could be a set. I mean I know some of my suggestions are very common and easy to find from other sculptors, and I love that your sets all have a story with them, I just am not thrilled for a 3rd set of dwarves following a 3rd set of elves. Again, not trying to take away from the amazing sculpts, I would just prefer the chance at some input or if not input to see some variety.

SnuggleDumpling

Can someone tell me why my merchant tier was removed? My shop sells a good amount of artisan guild minis and would like to know why you removed it when I follow all guidelines involving the sales.

Geratt Schmidt

Excited to get these, Thanks!

David Mort

Looking through these comments, it looks like we agree that this set is one of the best sets, if not the best set AG has released yet! Except for Ethan

Josiah Blackie

These look amazing!

Luis

can the wings on the mounted bull be taken off to have a normal big bull? :O

Milo_Jones

I'm so effing pumped. I love slayer dwarves and these are a great take on them! Love the bull centaurs and all the friggin mohawks!

Angel Tinkham

I agree with this point. I love these sets, but sometimes with there being no poses seemingly made for a ranged option combined with no ranged weapons in the set makes it difficult to make use of the models in certain games.

Tyson G

it's so hard to find great dwarf miniatures. Absolutely beautiful sculpts! :)

William W

I think a set that calls itself modular should contain atleast one ranged option in the same artstyle as the rest of the set. I'm not saying that these sets aren't a good deal because they are. I just have much less use for the riders and terrain pieces than for some additional weapon options but that's just me. And if you would have read my comment in full you would know that I already do combine different sets with each other.

Joel Dressler

Hey Joel, the really nice thing about AG, their entire collection is pretty modular with eachother, so you can make almost anything you want that they make into a ranged option, either with spell effects, bows, crossbows, guns, staves. All kinds of options.

Jordan Wagg

I love these sets but for wargames there is a servere lack of ranged options in your sets. The released sets are almost exclusively melee with very little, if any, ranged weapons. If there were a few compatible ranged weapons in a set that I could kitbash on any 25mm mini released so far it would be appreciated. I already printed the crossbow from the oldburg fallen set a few times to put on some human fighters but I like options.

Joel Dressler

If I may add to this: Personally I really would love it if modular heads became a thing. It would add a ton of variety to the models. Thanks for all your great work by the way @Artisanguild!

Durifen

These are so amazing it reminds me of a whole clan of dwarven slayers!

Po_OTato

I love the sculpts but already having so many Dwarves I'm actually considering skipping these. The boss incentive may keep me on, just never been a huge fan of Dwarves. Really dig the bull/gorgon looking things though.

Brady Hargett

this lot looks awesome. you guys keep value adding all the time.

Garry Rutherfurd

Not 100% something I would've gone looking for, but I think this may turn out to be really useful, whenever I get around to setting up my printer...

Mercurius

My wife is VERY excited by this release. Duergar are one of her campaign bad guys, but finding female duergar? Forget about it! Until now.

Dennis O'Brien

Weapons (like all set) and taurus body (to make full animal or half dwarf. If you see on models the head is splitted from body )

Lind

my brain isn't working today -- are these models modular?

Dwayne Hinton

Nice models as always. Good job. I know that the release is done but, is it possible to have 1 generic lower half rider part (with saddle) that combined with the upper part can create a full rider on taurus?

Lind

I have no idea how you continue to output such amazing quality models every month. Here's to your perpetual success!

Mason Bailey

This year has been absolutely killer, every month I think, okay, this is the best set yet.

Lester Rea

I've never been much for collecting dwarves, but these have got me hook, line and sinker! What a dynamic range, filled with energy and power.

Eddy

True but that sure minimizes their field of view, great for eye protection but won't see side attacks coming very well... LOL I'm just not a big fan of anything that covers faces on my mini's....

Charles Harris

Here here for Lycanthropes!

Anthony Donovan

Very fair. Can ya blame a boy for being hopeful that I'd get to use a (always great looking) Artisan Guild sculpt though :).

Brian John Gabriel

More Snakepeople would be great

Matthias Schobloch

Love dwarves, so quick to print!

Aubrey Ramage Lay

For those who love Dwarfs this is an awesome set, I have no use for dwarfs so I'll skip this one. I would love to see you do Lycanthropes one day or more Snakepeople.

Glitterwolf

Very much echo the above folks, this one has me on the edge of my seat. Can't wait to print.

Dungeons Deep

thats clearly an anvil :P

Dungeons Deep

Definitely one of the best releases for a while ! Can't wait to print that!

François Dumont

Thanks so much! Really happy by reading your comment :) Fiamma was going to have some skin runes, bur the skin and anatomy was losing so much that we decided to let the painters male some tattoes and runes on her :) All details were disappearing with symbols on her body

Artisan Guild

So, even though the past couple months have been solid, they have not really excited me. This month, however, I am seriously excited! All the models look fantastic. I love the take on dwarves leaning into a more jagged feel. Typically most themes are very geometric and carved. This jagged and shattered theme is amazing and refreshing. Also, the flaming/geo bulls are a really good compliment which emphasizes the natural feel of the characters. Honestly, I think my favorite models out of the bunch are the dwarf centaurs. But pretty much every other model is close behind. - The bulls/modular dwarves are amazing. Not in love with the mohawks personally, but they definitely fit and not sure what other hair styles would fit. Literally my only criticism to them though as everything else looks amazing. Weapons are extremely well done in particular. - Forgemaster is in such a dynamic pose (love the way the back looks where the bone armor meets the runic circle). The mounted version is also equally as good (hopefully a version without wings as that would be a nice option). - Ragingfire has amazing armor/weapons. Seriously, the head of that axe is a 10/10. - Fiamma is probably the best pinup in a while imo. I like the addition of the anvil pose/setting for her and it's refreshing to have nudity back in the pinup. As a suggestion, given her being an oracle, I think a really cool addition would be a version with rune etchings on her skin. Sorry for such a long comment, but just really excited for this release! (As a side note, typically don't really care about dwarf packs, but this is absolutely an exception and will be printing every single model out).

Skublahind

Well, guess I’m playing a centaur now

Zac Erickson

$8 on Heroforge for an STL dude. :)

Zac Erickson

I’m just waiting for Amazons set lmao

Anthony Krieman

Wow. These are really amazing. Love the monthly pin up models also! Need more resin!

Daniel Williams

I need to stop watching these previews on my work computer lol.

Jeff Tetlow

I love the bull centaurs. I would love to see some Arabian /Persian style centaurs with turbans and scimitars and tassels galore.

CURTIS CRADDOCK

Yes

CURTIS CRADDOCK

is the pinup separate fron the table ?

Lilian

WOW!!! Best set yet I think!

Jack Diggler

I am pumped about this release like no other! I think I’ve watched that video maybe ten times already. Hurry up and get here May!

Jared Gill

LOL sleep in it if we're lucky "Don't drink that lava! Do you know what the Kalkotaurs have done in it?"

Dave Stone

Ah, really looking forward to those bulls as mounts

Joshua Snow

Oooh one of my favourites DWARFS yay can't wait

Kylie

Thses are great. I love the whips you guys do, just wish they reattached to the models. The way they look is amazing, but always end up breaking on the gametable.

william sconzo

These looks really great! Not sure if I have any immediate need for dwarf centaurs or flaming bulls, but I can certainly make use of the dark dwarves! Can't wait

Brandon

Helmets have some thin vertical cuts. But really they can charge blind , I'm sure ahah

Artisan Guild

Yeah :) ! They sleep in lava ahah

Artisan Guild

These are fantastic, unfortunately however I'm not a huge dwarf fan. I don't know if it's because of how many kits there are dedicated to them already or what. Beautiful work as always though, but I may dip out this month

Jodie Ingrey

I love the bulls I was looking for a model like this great work

Benjamin Mckeown

Also as a suggestions, There are other spell affects other than fire, some examples would be web, grease/acid, lightning, magic missiles, arcane shield, even just a finger with a beam coming out of it for disintegrate.

demonwombatofdoom

Wow!! These are amazing!! I can't wait to dive into printing these!

Emmalee Stanwood

And even though I haven't printed anything new in ages, I am reminded exactly why I still am a member! This set is *awesome* and I can't wait to get some of it made!

David Petty

Freaking awesome man!

Abdul Rahman Khan

These are awesome! Really love the details. Great work!

Ben Darnell

I must agree, I love all the models you do but they indeed are mostly armored humanoids. Some monsters would be a welcomed fresh breeze. I like the non-saddle mounts and usually print them in a much smaller scale to be used as monsters and I think asomething like a monster only month would be great, even if the minis are not modular.

viktor kopelent

We need some heads with big hats!

Jesse White

Maybe a Spellcaster's Guild? There's already a Fighter's Guild, so...

Rob Silvester

Given that these dwarves are flameseekers, I'm imagining those Kalkotaurs are molten in appearance.

Dave Stone

I love that you give recommendations to the colours schemes for these guys. It would be awesome if you did this for all of your Character sets, and have it posted on MMF>

Fogo

Very interested in the Lore as I'm curious how the helmets work as it appears to cover their eyes.... Love everything, awesome work as usual!!!

Charles Harris

Ok, got to admit, I absolutely hated this theme when I first saw it, I mean another dwarf variant? Urgh. But... watching the full presentation, just the sheer quality and the fact that these are definitely very different to past dwarves, I'm actually really loving these. Plus the dwarvish centaur type thing is so clever and looks great. I just need to learn to trust you guys know what you're doing. Bravo for changing a grumpy old man's mind 🤣

SteveWasEre

Good in theory, but only clerics wear metal armor. For Dungeons and Dragons, Wizards, Bards, Druids, Sorcerers can't wear them by default.

demonwombatofdoom

These are great, but I'd love to see something less common like Tieflings or Firbolgs.

Wallywest317

Love the work ya'll are doing!

arlan miller

Wow. Those bulls. And centaur dudes? Just wow.

Aaron Reynolds

Well done, as usual. Ordered more resin just in time. Hoping to one day see Centaur. With some even being heavily armored/plate armored. Just a hope. Continuing my subscription regardless. AG for the win!

MrMix1212

The AG School of Witchcraft and Wizardry could be the name of the collection :D

James Harrison

To backup Patrick a bit. Your models are really awesome, but there are alot of elves, dwarves, humans, orcs. I love your creativity and modularity when it comes to other less popular races, like your Jurakin, Gryphkin or Gurunda! I would especially love to see a set that could be your halflings/gnomes or a set that incorporates all your races but they are all casters (like a mage school) or monk/marital art types (like a monastery)!

Brad Duffin

Ordering more resin!!!

Mad4sax

Can’t wait to print these and go for the wow ashen/fiery look!!

Scott

Keep doing what you are doing, amazing models once again.

Frederick A Williams

Those look unreal! I am not a real big dwarf fan but you just changed my mind, well done! Grand Slam!

Anthony Donovan

This is my favorite thing I have seen yet!!

Ne Obliviscaris

This. This one wins.

Josiah Blackie

Any model can be a caster just print caster hands for them

Jeff Kunst

Wow i really like them they remind me a lot the Dark Iron dwarves of Wow with an AG twist! They will be good Chaos Dwarf berserks too!

Roger Jaques

The guy with the stone behind him is probably a runesmith, so a caster type. They don't seem to like traditional looking casters, but there's been a caster in most sets I've seen, unless you're talking about something else?

Felix Flauta

Theres a caster right in the middle of the set :) Runakk! Also all got modular hands

Artisan Guild

+1

James

It's nice to have these in the ole hard drive but I really hope we get some casters soon. We have so many elves and dwarves and orcs and armored humanoids. Please no more of those for a bit. Love what you're doing, love the models. Just need more spells and maybe some monsters if you feel so inclined. For those mentioning modular hands, I've only seen maybe 3 magic effects and I've been here since last June. And this isn't a harsh complaint. Just a hope to see more in the future. I have enough swords and axes for a lifetime. Need some spells.

Patrick Joseph

The test prints are coming out really, *really* well, y'all. Get excited. =D

Dustan Archer

Amazing as always :)

Edwin Pietrowski

They look amazing...

Frane

Man you when hard this month! So cool!!! Great job man!

Jeff Kunst

Every single month just keeps getting better and better!

Don McLaughlin

They're very cool. I have to admit I am very sad on a personal level, I thought there would be at least 1 fully helmeted, armored model to use for an Armorer Artificer I've been playing, which I've been having a surprisingly hard time finding a model for. These won't really function for Chaos dwarves either, who all wore a lot of armor. Not really sure what they're for, except more slayers. Ah well, they look great at least.

Brian John Gabriel

Yall freakin snapped 🤯
