Meet the Ancient Forest Primordial

A quick update to share with you what we are working on :)
For the first time at Artisan Guild we are making a cool trap for our Dungeon Master friends: a forest Scatter Terrain who turn into a ferocious and epic defender of the woods.
Imagine your players when they explore this terrain, and once they are near enough (or on top of it), it starts to uproot from the terrain in all his majestic fury.
On top of the 3 Armored Stags cavalry unit we are sculpting, there will be this HUGE Forest Primordial, which is a sort of nature elemental, who can be used also as epic mount-pedestal for any other model.
On the top there's a flat mushroom that is suited for that purpose, and if it's not needed, we have a nice mushroom plug-cap to put on top to hide it.
We couldn't decided about the head, so we ended up sculpting two :)

2020-11-13 07:30:17 +0000 UTCI am not really a fan of Mushroom Treants, I would personally prefer something more tree-like, with leaves and branches instead of giant mushrooms. But I must give credit where credit is due, this is a sculpt of incredible quality and detail, just like everything you make. I would echo the requests given by other patrons to make an optional arm without the blade, and maybe even an optional cap to hide the base in the shape of branches and vines, instead of a mushroom cap. I understand that it might be too much work, considering the amount and quality of your monthly releases, but a boy can hope :)

But could he have a hand at least? Maybe a changeble one? Like claws, because this guy dont even have "fingers" to pick things up, just STAB & SMASH! Heh
