Plague-Mine Kobolds!
At first we were not so fan of the Kobolds, but as we developed more and more sketches we felt in love with them. We had really a lot of fun designing this set!
This post contain the Link to download your Plague-Mine Kobold Set and the description (lore) of the models.

CHARACTERS LORE & PICTURES
Our Modular figures are provided with ball-jointed wrists and a wide array of weapons for infinite customization, to give you the tools to make your perfect encounter/army.
We use a custom 32mm scale (for the average human).
6 Plague-Mine Kobolds (modular)
Worshipers of the ancient Shapeshifter God Melmor, the Kobolds are ignoble lizard-dog horned demons who move around hopping on two legs. These short wicked monsters infest mines by stealing precious minerals and replacing it with toxic ones in order to spread the plague of their god. Cities with sewage systems are teeming with these evil and keen beings. Adventurers should never underestimate Kobolds: their innate abilities to brew potent poisons, stab and hide could catch even the most veteran soldiers off guard.

Kornutaaz the Plaguemancer (modular)
Plaguemancers are highly cunning Kobolds blessed by Melmor, the god of plague and shapeshifters. According to the Plague Queen's plans, Kornutaaz is the perfect Kobold to bring pestilence and death to the surface world. After all, he earned his place as herald by taming the monstrous Plague Zeek tunneler. Kornutaaz will make sure the metal extracted by dwarves and humans will be cursed and highly toxic.

Doggoz the Cagemaster (modular)
Even if the Plague Queen favor the plague bringer and poisonous spellcasters, her clan need a strong and imposing general to command the swarm of undisciplined Kobolds to battle. Doggoz is the biggest and baddest Kobold, perfect to subdue large amount of minions and lead them to victory. He loves to bring pieces of his victims inside his little backpack-cage... who knows what's inside that now?

Ishtarra the Plague Queen (modular Pinup)
Chosen by the God of Plagues Melmor, Ishtarra is a powerful enchantress whose role is to conquer the great cities of humans by raising an immense horde of Kobolds right under their feet, in the sewers. Her quest will be of vital importance when the Soulless armies of Tialevor will besiege the human fortifications: endless waves of Kobolds will emerge from mines and sewers to weaken the cities them from within. Even if she appears as a sort of beautiful lady, one know the true origin and appearance of this witch, as for many other worshipers of the Shapeshifter god Melmor.

Diggaz the Plague Zeek (Beast & Mount)
Among the largest and deadliest Zeeks who infest the lands, the Plague Zeeks are probably the most terrifying. Giant armored worm-like monstruosity from the depths who spread death and plague, capable of causing earthquakes and destroy a town in few minutes.
The Kobolds decided to build a platform on top of the beast to shoot spells and arrows: lucky, Kobolds compensate their lack of wisdom with their huge number.
It is said that Kornutaaz managed to tame this huge beast with powerful sorceries and by hatching the egg himself. He called the thing... Diggaz.

Melmor Shrine (terrain)
This improvised Shrine of the sewers is dedicated to the God of Plague and Shapeshifting Melmor. It might not be the most glorious altar, but it serve the purpose of the Kobolds.

7000 GOAL - Troubles in Taverns
Our next Goal of 7000 patrons will unlock the huge Troubles in Taverns set for every our patron! This pack of epic heroes and swashbucklers will include some new characters as well, such Tino Kobold-Bane and Gnish & Gnosh.
Gyros Shipwrecker, as 6700 Patrons goal unlocked few days ago, is available to download in this monthly release link.

7500 GOAL - Throwback Mounts (part 1)
We have a plan for our next goals! As we surpass the 7500 we will start designing some regular (non Heroic) mounts for our most popular older sets. Our goal is to make them fairly compatible among them, so you can swap riders and mounts fairly easly.
For example, we could start with a unit of OrcWorg Riders, then make some Knights on Warhorse at 8000, Dwarves on Boars and so on. We are sorry for the very quick sketch, but we had this idea just few hours ago ^^
It's probably a step longer than the legs, we already are hitting the maximum output, but being a Goal based (and not monthly based) we can take our time to accomplish this.
We will distribute these once the Goal is hit and the models are done.

Thanks, and happy Kobolds printing!

Sean Salisbury

I scaled down to 80% and have had mixed results. Weapons are generally separating from supports and whilst the majority of the body prints fine I'm finding the ends of the arms are failing (and therefore I'm losing the ball socket)
Dan Akers
2020-09-22 12:50:26 +0000 UTC
Love this set, and glad to finally join the community here. Just wanted to say that anyone going to print the pre-supported Kornutaaz the Plaguemancer body should add a couple extra supports to the smaller portion of the cape. It consistantly fails on the elegoo mars pro without it.
Boxfish
2020-09-15 17:21:50 +0000 UTC
I've had no trouble scaling down to 80% with presupported models for AG or Titanforge
Jared Dahl
2020-09-12 20:47:59 +0000 UTC
Has anyone tried printing the pre-supports scaled down? These are a fantastic set and appreciate how hard it is to do detailed small minis but these guys come in around the 5ft area on my 32mm scale. That's about twice as tall as a by the book kobold, I don't need them that small but I have 6-8 other kobolds from a different artist and I want to get them close in size. I think I only need to reduce to about 88% or so. I'm iffy on reducing the supports and wondering if anyone else has tried it?
Erik Waring

In Chitubox in edit mode, click on the cone part of the support that touches the model, Then adjust Contact depth and Upper Diameter on the right side by pressing the arrows or typing.
Kory Kush
2020-09-12 01:21:22 +0000 UTC
Ahh... can you point me in the right direction for editing the supports in the pre-supported files? I can adjust the length of the body, but I cant seem to edit any properties of the heads or its depth into the model.
Edward Lunde
2020-09-11 04:02:11 +0000 UTC
I was. Lowering lift speed, and learning i could edit the supports in Chitu helped on the last couple of prints. I go in and make weight relevant .1 and .2 support heads into .2 and .3 respectively. A little more support damage.. but definitely better than the failed parts I was getting
Dan Brainard
2020-09-11 00:30:02 +0000 UTC
im not downscaling, but I had been loading in the stl files rather than chitu. good to know I can go in and up the .1 supports that were failing
Dan Brainard
2020-09-10 23:32:47 +0000 UTC
Anyone else having issues with some presupported models falling off their supports? Using Elegoo Water Washable Ceramic Gray on a Photon with 10s normal exposure. That said, I should probably stop being lazy just because its presupported haha
Edward Lunde
2020-09-10 23:16:03 +0000 UTC
What scale are you printing at? I print at 70% scale and find I have to go in and enlarge many of the supports as when they get too small they often don't connect. If you use the edit tool in Chitubox, select the upper part of the support and increase the upper diameter by .1-.2 mm for supports that are breaking.
Kory Kush
2020-09-10 22:20:56 +0000 UTC
Even with Presupported Files, always check for Islands yourself and add a support where needed. I've noticed some islands even with the best presupported stuff.
Glitterwolf
2020-09-10 14:26:59 +0000 UTC
Yes, it is the smallest supports that fail. Heavier ones are just fine. My print/lift speed should be plenty slow, I slowed it way down a while back. Retract is 100 and lift is 50.
Michael Levenick
2020-09-10 13:53:32 +0000 UTC
What is a good speed for tiny supports? I have it at 55 currently.
Dan Brainard
2020-09-10 13:37:58 +0000 UTC
Plaguemancer spellhand keeps breaking off of supports. Photon printer. Add more supports, or is there a particular print setting that I should look at?
Dan Brainard
2020-09-10 13:37:02 +0000 UTC
If the supports that were failing were the very thin ones, then you could check your build plate lift speed. Sometimes the stock setting on the Anycubic Photon is a little too fast and forceful. Not sure if the same is true of the Expax x1.
Anthony Winder
2020-09-10 05:09:28 +0000 UTC
For example, the plaguemancer had failures on the bottom of his staff, as well as parts of his cloak.
Michael Levenick
2020-09-08 17:36:56 +0000 UTC
I've been getting quite a few failures lately with presupported models. Older models seem to print perfectly, but newer models have quite a few failures. I'm doing 10s layer times on an Epax x1 with Siraya Fast. Should be more than enough I think. Is it possible that Anti Aliasing would cause support failure? Anything else I should try? I'm going to swap out for new nfep today and try some of them again.

Even though you worded it poorly I understand what you mean. However, if you cant spare the 5 minutes it would take to slap one support on a 28mm scale fist then maybe this isn't the hobby for you. There was a time when we had to spend hours supporting our own models that we purchased. In a lot of cases when you buy a model you still have to spend hours supporting it, if it wasn't bought from Patreon. It would take far more time to post that the fist is missing and wait for an update than it would to just support it yourself. Thats why they upload both versions.

Hi - Beautiful work as always - and that worm monstrosity is particularly terrifying. Just wondering if it might be possible to get an uncut version of the Melmor Plague Shrine Base to allow FDM printing it as one piece? The shrine itself I'd still like to do up in resin it's just the base parts I'm hoping for as one piece.

I was super excited when you originally announced that you were making a kobold set. I've always been a fan of scalies and after seeing the beautifully designed lizardfolk I had high hopes! Although the kobolds themselves were top notch, I was expecting a lovely kobold pinup along the same vein as the lovely lizardfolk pinup. But I was massively disappointed that we got a human pinup amongst the kobolds. Sad times! What was the thought behind that when you'd made such a great job with the lizardfolk?

I actually attempted to download the way suggested Artisan Guild, there were still issues. You have explained multiple times why the team continues to use SYNC. You seem to missing the point. I hope you will take the majority of you consumers feedback that you should explore a different option otherwise you are likely to continue to get feedback focused on your consumers frustration downloading over having positive interactions on your designs and ideas for future content. To give you an analogy to the suggestion you are giving your patrons right now imagine this... You order the same three things from your favorite store and have it set up to be reoccurring order every month. But the company that the the store uses to deliver these items takes three times as long to deliver them because you order three things and sometimes they do not even get delivered. So you voice your frustration to to the place you ordered from as do many other people with the same concern. So the company repeatedly telsl these customers if they just order their items one at a time they will all be delivered in the standard time of two days because of an issue the delivery service they are continuing to use has on the backend of their system. That company can either spend its time defending the delivery service or invest likely less time finding one that meet the needs of the company and their consumer. And then in the end spend their time on what they intended to in the first place when they set out and expand their artistic creativity.

Why is the plague diggaz not printed right on the build plate? Even the flat parts are printed on tiny supports, wouldn't it be much faster and better to lower the print so it hits the build plate and eliminates the needs for supports?

I've had issues with Sync before, usually on release days. Don't forget you have hundreds, if not thousands of folks all trying to d/l the same files at the same time. It's like 6000 people all trying to get onto the same game server for an mmorpg after a maintenance, slow, as, hell.
I say wait a couple days then try again. Still having issues, wait another couple days.

actually if you "download all" instead of selecting one of the two ZIP (presupported or normal) cause the slow calculating issue, because Sync try to make a huge new compressed archive including everything. So you are waiting for sync to compress that huge amount of files.
We are on Sync because Box and Dropbox would give even worst experience, the solution is to select one Archive of the two and just download it

2020-09-03 01:05:35 +0000 UTC
Ok two things, just so the team at Artisan Guild might feel inspired by the continued voices reminding you SYNC is undoubtedly a sub standard solution and has now failed for multiple months to provide the service your team, your patrons deserve, and everyone is paying for. Second the zip file is missing the standalone hand positions. They are located in the normal presupposed file directory. Of corse even that one not very large file is struggling to download from Sync. And for the record I personally am using a fiber internet connection. My download speeds are amazing on pretty much anything other than when downloading from Sync.

They have also been updating the sets to the current content level. Which for most means adding 2 more modular figures and a terrain piece which takes time. I think Lizards are the first set with 6 modulars, and Alfar were the first with terrain.

How is it possible that we lost over 250 patrons? Werent we around 6800? And now it says 6531 or is it a bug?

Hi! In conjunction with the previously mentioned issues, the pre-supported stand alone weapons are missing!

Folks Sync is not very good, 1 hour of spamming the download and X button is not fun..... Maybe My Mini Factory, or Drive Through RPG is another good option.

Winrar (free program) or 7zip can still open it. its just a different type of compression.

Is the Gyros file supposed to be a rar? What am I supposed to do with it? (Sorry if it's a dumb question)

Great set AG....great sculpts, poses and details as usual. And I like the mounts idea for future goals.

Thanks guys, Set looks fantastic. Can you start putting the fists in the standalone section as well as the empty hands though?
Edit: It shows the fists are supposed to be there under the modular kobolds in the weapons picture but I cant find them?

since a classic Koboldo weapon is the slingshot I would like to know if there is in any past kit so suitable?

I got the zip folders downloaded from sync very easy this month. sadly, it's a sync problem and not an AG problem. They have amazing models. I have had the same issue with several other patreons that use the same service. One is switching to my mini factory for their downloads, but the distribution seems to be a lot slower.

Thanks for adding the zip files! It's so much faster to download those!

Did Diggaz_the_Plague_Zeek_Top hollowed.stl not get a supported version? The file in the supported section isn't supported.

I was able to download the pre-zipped files without issue. It went a lot faster than trying to have sync zip it and then download it.

I hate to say it but after September I am bailing on AG because of sync.com issues I can not justify the time is spend trying to DL items that I paid for for hours or having to go into each folder and individually DL each item........ great work, I love the models..... I just value my time more than I like the models at this point.
