Trailer of the NEXT month (August)
Added 2020-07-16 18:38:31 +0000 UTC
Hey guys!
Please turn ON the audio and click Play on the video above :)
This had been extremely challenging, but we are really happy with the final result. It's great that you finally voted for those birdguys!
Quick update to share with you a trailer of what's coming next month, in August.
If you are a New Patron, please go here to download this month 3d Printable Release, the Ashen Alfar Inquisitors.
Gryphkin of the Eye Cult coming in August

For the first time ever we really had a chance to make something unusual. It was really hard at first but we enjoyed the process.
When we sketched the bird-folk "Gryphkin" few months ago for the poll we actually didn't think about the great responsibility it meant if the would win! We had a really bad start without a clue of where we where going. We made hundreds of sketches everywhere at every hour. "We already have a gryphon for mount, and an owlbear! And what about the PINUP?!?!? We can't make this work!"
Well, after all it was a really great adventure. Now to convert the last sculpts into STL, test them and make those supports with 3dPrintingPro! These models will be available to our patrons on day 3rd August.
GUILDS (game) coming soon!
As many of or patrons know, we are working in a game since many years... well actually not a single one. Game designing is one of our passions!
The skirmish miniature game will use our models of course, and will require minimum material. Few dices and some very simple stat cards... well and the miniatures^^
For this reason the game will be totally free for our Patrons and it will grow overtime with the new releases. We have not a release date now, we want to focus 100% on the Patreon releases, it's quality, printability, modularity and paintability. A Patron's only Beta will be probably out in the next month.
All of our supporters also know we love storytelling. We can't create a sculpt without thinking about its background and story. Here some Lore and renders.
Lore (and Pictures!)
6 Eye-Cult High and Infiltrator Gryphkins (modular)
Once a cult of humans, the Gryphkins are the legendary people of the sky, often living in sacred or unholy place far away from the rest of the world. Their appearance and skill depends on where their eggs had been laid. The noble High-Gryphkin of the Cult of the Eye protects the Eye of Tialevor from the lust of sorcerers and Kings on the peak of the Wyvern Mountains. The eggs laid in the realms of mortals generate wingless Gryphkin, smaller, but skilled in the art of shadow manipulation, espionage and murder. In the Cult of the Eye both forms are essential to keep the Eye safe and at the same time protect the world from its endless corruption, but It would seem that the evil influence of the Eye has slowly turned his jailers into his... thralls.

The High-Gryphkin comes with and without Wings socket, and they are all compatible with a triangular joint system. On top, the selection of weapons that are compatible with the balljoint system used on all the "modular" models wrist connection.
Gufaar the Librarian (modular)
Many years studying the effects of corruption from the Eye have slowly transformed Gufaar, Librarian and keeper of knowledge to the great eye shrine on the peak of the Wyvern Mountains, in a corrupted and powerful being. Due to the influence of his dark patron, his Animant practices have gone beyond all points of redemption, as well as his power.

Malor - Eye Guardian (modular)
Towering High-Gryphkin from the shiny armor and immeasurable valor, Malor is a legendary weaponmaster who ultimately guards the Eye relic in it's sacrarium. Bound to an ancient oath, it is impossible to separate it from the Eye or to distract it from its task. Anyone who wants to reach the Eye of Tialevor and even only admire it closely must measure themselves against the wrath of Malor.

Gryphinia the Enchantress (Fantasy Pinup)
Powerful and lustful enchantress, Gryphinia was the one who handed her tribe to the influence of Tialevor. By guarding his powerful Artifact, her wicked plan was to stop the Tyrant-God's corruption and betray him, but it did not take many years before the Eye of Tialevor turned the whole cult into thralls. At the price of being forever bound to protect the evil phylactery, in fact, his tribe gained extraordinary magical powers, the ability to fly, and eternal life.

The Legendary Arcanix and Mounted Malor (Mounted Hero & Beast)
The relationship between the Eye-Cult Gryphkins and the evil artifact itself is symbiotic, adverse and intricate. To protect the world from its never-ending corruption, Phoenix Eggs are laid near the Eye of Tialevor from the Gryph people. These mysterious eggs, capable of absorbing its evil, hatch giving rise to corrupt Arcanix: Phoenixes that burn with a dark flame. These legendary immortal beasts feed on Wyverns that infest these peaks, and come to the aid of the Gryphkin if necessary.
Arcanix, which is more like an Epic Boss than a regular mount, feature two bodies (with and without Saddle) and two head, regular and corrupted, with horns and such. Use the regular head if you need a pure Phoenix or majestic bird.
The Eye of Tialevor (terrain)
When the cataclysm struck the Scourgelands, Tialevor the Tyrant-God decided to pour part of his essence into a powerful phylactery, sacrificing his third eye. This powerful artifact, transformed over the years into a huge arcane crystal, is a source of infinite corruption capable of giving divine powers to those who are able to use it. But the true purpose of this evil artifact is to let the Tyrant-God to rise again if his body were to be destroyed, and for this reason it is protected on the peak of the Wyvern Mountains by an ancient and cursed species, the Gryphkins, that has entered into a pact with him.

- Scale As always the release scale is 32mm (for the avarage human), High-Gryphkin are a bit taller, while Infiltrator Gryphkins are a bit shorter. People who play at 28mm scale usually scale down our models to 90%, but we encourage you to test them at full size. 32mm It's becoming pretty common and it gives better result on 3d print!
- Modular Models Our regular models and heroes are balljointed wrist miniatures with various weapon options, perfect to create your custom hero, your Wargame warband/army or your perfect rpg encounter. You can mix most of the parts with our previous releases! We prefer to give you each month the tools to make your perfect models, no need to make clones and clones with the only difference being a weapon.
I love this month's offering and I'm still going to have chicken for dinner!

The pinup model this time around reminds me so much of a sexy Coco Lupia from the TCG Duel Masters. I can't wait to paint these.

I agree with the others. These were not my choice but after seeing them I can't wait to print them! This is why so many of us are patrons! I'm still hoping for the kobolds next. I really could use them.

Kudo's to Artisan Guild. I, by far wasn't waiting on "some flying birds" to add to my collection. But honestly, they turned out better then i could even imagine! especially the owl head mini and the kenku, I will definetly find a use for them! Kudo's to making a boring idea actually look cool! I guess nothing is impossible for the Artisan's Guild

Not related to the August set (looks beautiful btw) but will the presupported models ever come to the individual models, or will they say in the bundles?

Hello i would like to know if there is any plan in releasing a book which includes all races and the lore of your fantasy universe? I love the lore to all your miniatures and i think the other backers would be amazed if we could play with your miniatures in your own universe. Greetings from germany and keep up the good work.

Hell ya, a new player at my table is an aracochra. As DM itll be awesome to give him a mini of this caliber while also introducing him to the game.

To be honest was not sure how I was going to use Gryphkin but these models look great, can totally see use for these models as Kenku and Aracochra characters

The pinup looks somehow disturbing... Maybe associating it with Tweety doesn't help :-/
Other than that I quite like the models :)

This set looks incredible! I'm glad you have various bird types included...kenku, eagle/gryphon/etc., and I really like the scatter terrain. The boss/mount definitely has that epic feel...just glad Greg is supporting these models. ;) Great action poses, weapons, etc. as usual. Awesome job guys, cheers!

The reason for the similar body types is to make them less fragile when printing. Personally I dont want a bunch of models that break apart in your hands because they are too thin.

2020-07-17 04:56:02 +0000 UTC
I was full team Bear tribe or the Death knights, but wow yalls work is truly amazing these look fantastic and really got me thinking of new ideas that involve kenkus or owlkin.

TBH I wasnt super excited about this month but seeing the sculpts now, Im jazzed AF. My friend has an old character that we used to play in a campaign that was about 15 years ago. He was a half griffon and theses models finally will give him the opportunity to have a mini that represents his favorite character.

Oh man! That Pin Up Beauty is SO DAMN CUTE! It reminds me of Tweety Bird.
I've been looking forward to this set for quite some time and you did not disappoint. Im not the biggest fan of Kenku or Aarakroca but I just KNEW that you would make them look spectacular, making me more enthused to include them in my game. I was not wrong! Thank you!

2020-07-16 23:14:38 +0000 UTC
That looks fantastic. Any chance the armor and wings on some models can be made separate? I'd hate to have poor resolution on the wings from having one side facing down on a FDM printer when a solution is available.

2020-07-16 22:29:34 +0000 UTC
Wow this is my new favorite set.
2020-07-16 21:54:54 +0000 UTC
Very nice as usual. However, I would have preferred a less chunky/muscular approach to bird-like creatures. They could have been leaner, maybe taller? So far, apart from dwarves, all your releases seem to have the same body mass, and maybe it is time to introduce some variations in that. This is only a suggestion..

This might be yout best set yet! Love them.
And with this I really hope you consider coming back to it in a later month to revisit the race, as I really want more bird people!
(And to think I was a little disappointed when they won the survey. Silly me!)

Awesome designs as ever. One question about the Arcanix. Could we get a version without the lighting/magic effect mixed with the feathers? That would allow us to use the model more flexible.

Hey guys, I was wondering if it would be possible to have a pinup version without human breasts, they lay eggs, don’t they? As you did with the lizardfolks. Does Really a bird need to have nipples? I would enjoy a more birdlooking version!!
