@Glitterwolf, the problem is that a lot of the less generic races are also a lot less commonly used. I for one paint the minis with the idea of using them as tokens for D&D and sometimes paint them or design new weapon attachments for specific characters but for the most part I just paint them how I feel like, and if they're dwarves, elves, humans, etc I'll almost always find a use for them, but I don't see myself using a Gryphkin anytime soon cause I run more plain fantasy games usually where weirder races are rare.

I like all of these, but I will point out that it is ALOT harder to find good bugbear and kobold miniatures. Dark elves miniatures are much easier to find.

I really hate that a few people whining made it necessary to remove the lore descriptors. I really liked seeing the lore in the voting posts. People need to grow up. Just because the creators have lore to the pieces that they make, it doesn't mean that you need to follow it explicitly. Some people are really immature.

I think put it into context - 3023 votes, that half the patrons - and almost half of that has voted for the Alfar, making it just under 1,500 voters. Its not up to AG to decide how the vote goes - just what options they can provide. So to those saying its not fair that the lesser voted ones are not getting picked - its 1,500 ppl vs 300 approximately - if AG chooses the lesser ones (great models still) - it goes against the much larger proportion of voters wishes. If the margin was smaller, it may be feasible (i.e. 300 vs 100) and reasonable to suggest otherwise. There are 3000 people who have not voted - they should get involved to resolve this clearly. Patreon is not meant to be a shop - getting what you want all the time... its meant to be a platform to support creators (live streamers, painters, etc) - and in return you get the created entertainment. With 3D sculpting, we are supporting their time to create these miniatures - just create - and in return we are getting the models. This is not a cheaper shop, than MMF or others. It is a investment to make sure future releases ARE made. Not every release of every patreon I join is my cup of tea. Theres always something to my liking at least. I have supported bear tribe this time - they all sound cool - but when a voting option is given, the consequence of a vote is that not everyone wins - unless you accept that the models are great, and you get a whole set EVERY MONTH - everything will get release eventually. Patience and continued support will make it happen. Just keep in mind, when you dont get what you want one month - you are still building towards getting extra free characters, and amazing epic bosses - models like this in retail would cost you several months subscription. Shame about the backgrounds too - what happened to enriching our imaginations with new stories - issues of proxies? I thought the hobby was all about creating what you want with the tools you are given - conversions, paint jobs etc. There is not proprietary use-definition for these models. 25 years ago - paper cutouts, legos etc were common proxies - if you wanted to DND with a halfelf - did it have to be Tanis, because he was the common and famous option? or could you create your own backstory? Thats the beauty of this - its your choice what you do (within the legal terms of use set by AG) with the models you helped to support to create.

I feel like you guys want to make the Bear-Clan Great Goblins (Bugbears), since you guys have posted about them in the past, so that's where my vote goes. Personally, I think you should bring back the longer descriptions. I get that you don't want to bias your patrons to vote for one thing or another, but realistically we're going to be happy with whatever you guys make, so I don't really mind being swayed one way or another. I'd rather hear your pitch. Whatever you guys are most excited to make is probably what ends up being the best set anyway.

Disappointed in the dark elf models being in the lead. There are thousands of dark elf minis out there. That isn't true of Kobolds and especially of Gryphkin.

Exactly, purest form of democracy. I do kinda get the issue tho, I mean I’m only a Patreon since February so I missed out a lot of cool sets. I’m gathering my own army to use for D&D and since I’m relatively new, I’m gonna need humans, elves and dwarfs with the highest priority, since I can also use them as npc and playable characters. The “older” patreons already collected their set of humans, dwarf and elves so they go into phase 2: enemies. But Since this Patreon is still growing like crazy, and the quality of these mini’s are astonishing, all new Patreons basically want to start with their basic needs all over: humans, dwarfs and elves and the New patreon count is higher then the “old” patreon count, so this won’t change until we get a bigger amount of patreons who have their basic needs, and less new patreons, so they won’t tip the scale so heavily.

Because a lot of us do really want almost all of these sets. But it comes disheartening to see the one you *really* want continuously not win. I honestly don't understand the problem. Every patron is entitled to their own vote. The one with the most votes win, It is that simple. If the artist themselves favor one, the vote is still on the patron. As artistry is based on inspiration, the result is mostly favorable if the artist get to work on a project in time with the inspiration. You guys make the best models I have seen so far, may your inspiration never fail!

Don't think half of the people that voted had read more than a few description lines (in fact, after voting several times for the gryphkin I've just realized reading the complete description that it included several races different from the concept art, like eagles, which I prefer to those depicted in the poll image...). From my point of view the description doesn't bias the results as much as the concept art, and if it is possible I would love to see further developed concept art for those options that are not being selected, just to know what are we missing (For example, I've read another commentary that didn't know with the kobolds, gnolls were also included).

At some point will the Great-Goblins, Kobolds and Gryphkin drop off the options list in favour of new options? It'd be good to mix it up with so new options. Even if it's just the one lowest voted answer disappears for a few months to make room for an additional new choice.

Nice reversal AG making out the ones questioning the auto winning ashen throne sets out as the bad eggs and blaming their longer descriptions turning the masses against the questioners. I'll wait and see what happens in next month's poll if it's a clear run away victory for something else again at the cost of the gobbos kobolds or gryphkin I might need to look at switching to a patreon where the poll matters.

I'm not a real fan of Elves, but if they get chosen I do like the idea of a Reptilian Monster! Hoping for some Anubi/Horus/Mummy stuff one day or maybe some Indian Mytholgoy based Monsters ( India not Native American!) Samurai would be cool maybe even Undead ones? I love the Amazones will be getting them for sure and I have my eye on those lovely female barbarians. Your minis are awesome .

the whole community is asking us dark elves proxies since a year, we should have made them earlier :) After a so long and high request it's easy to imagine they would get voted, and once they are out the things will continue flowing as usual. Same thing for the Vampire release last year, we all know they would win quickly. Afterall we made 14 Sets and no Dark Elves proxies or anything similiar, once they are out there will be plenty of space for other themes.

Hey Jake :) Every faction we make is based in our Ashen Throne Setting. Naming them Ashen Alfar because we have no rights on "Drows" doesn't mean they will not be AG proxies for drows, dark eldars, dark elves and so on.

One can use all the mentioned factions for either D&D, Warhammer or Kings of War. I only collect and paint for display. My main interests are Undead ( both Gothic and Egyptian), Reptilians/Dinos, Oni/Samurai adn Seamonsters, I'm always interested in Monsters, I like the Survivors, they will fit in my Desert World. This time I will vote for the Birdmen, those look like they could be used as great monsters or Chaos Lords in any setting.

I mean who wants little kobolds anyway, they're good for about 2 minutes of a campaign before they're just annoying. Everyone stop talking about the AG game being separate from releases its not every release is for the world they are building, you are using them as proxies for other games there is no difference other than the lore descriptions being more detailed. look back on all the other polls they all have lore attached, you not getting the race you want won't change what they are doing.

haha you do realise every release is for their game, you are 'using' them for DnD as proxies, all that has changed is the detail in the lore they provide, look at all the past polls every set has lore attached for their world. lol

To be fair, at this point I'd rather we finally see the other options materialise. The elves will obviously win this month. But next month maybe only offer the remaining three options. Then the last two go to vote. Alternatively if scourgeland sets are going to keep getting offered and win by landslides (for any of the reasons already suggested). Then either start trickle feeding some of the other sets mixed in with the winners, so that everyone can get what they want. Or just do full blown sets on the side but put them straight to MMF for purchase. Otherwise the voting is moot and we've got 3 great sets just floating beside the obvious Premier pick each month.

I was okay with one month of your new self created RPG figures, and although I will have no use for this June release I figured I would stick it out with the understanding that not every month is going to give me figures I can use. I hope your new project is successful but I feel like others putting in an option that is clearly a preferred choice feels disingenuous. If your plan was to release all of your RPG figures via your Patreon you should just have informed us givenbusbthe opportunity to opt out. In addition I understand you say these can be dark elves but I would disagree at least from the concept art they appear to be elves with goblin hair and nothing I would use as dark elves.

I think they (AG) should consider making this poll a schedule of future release maybe. There are 4 options. So why not releasing all of them by priorities? Most voted will be released first and the other three follows next.

Not really digging any of the choices for past few months to be honest. Quality of sculpts is amazing, but I don't need more goblins, kobolds. The gryphkin I have no use for either, I guess they are a Dungeons and Dragons thing? Not too stoked about more scourge land elves as I have no idea what I could use them for. I collect stuff for use in Warhammer Quest, I guess that's my issue :) So I don't think I will vote this month.

As a at least one other has stated, not entirely sure the poll is useful if the artists have a game type/models in mind. Enough people will auto-vote on that one, leaving the poll rigged in a sense. I'll keep doing it for the ones I want, but... (checks poll) yea, it's definitely not winning at this point (even though it's early). End the poll, do each month of the models needed for the game, then bring the poll back so it's not "rigged".

Feels like it wasn’t that long ago that we got the woodland alfar (which could also easily be painted as drow). I really don’t need more elves at the moment. They’re a dime a dozen at this point. Great-goblins or kobolds will get my vote, whichever of the two ends up with the most votes towards the end of the poll.

Though i love the inquisitors, the first batch of mini for the game see the light this month, and beign not yet complete for playing it (i think?), i don't see any reason to not give the kobolds my vote this month ;I'm sure the next batch for eye of tialevor will see the light, if not in July, for sure in August 😁 (and with a worshiper cult to fight 🤣😜)

I don't much see the point in the poll if their newest scourge land sets are always gonna win by a landslide. The goblins, gryphkin and kobolds are (I've been voting goblins for a while) are moot at this point. The models are great don't get me wrong but if next month the scourge land set auto wins I think the illusion of this poll should be wound down.
