Renders and Descriptions of the Characters
Scale
As always the release scale is 32mm (for the avarage human).
People who play at 28mm scale usually scale down our models to 85-90%, but we encourage you to test them at full size :)
Now that you have all the important links and informations, let's start our usual crappy description of the models. To see the original size, right click and open in a new tab.
These are modular models
Our regular models and heroes are balljointed wrist miniatures with various weapon options, perfect to create your custom hero, your Wargame warband/army or your perfect rpg encounter. You can mix most of the parts with our previous releases!
As always we prefer to give you each month the tools to make your perfect models, no need to make clones and clones with the only difference being a weapon, expecially because you'll support less bodies but have more variety.
4 Abyss Grutlings (modular)
Despite being the lowest rank infantry of the Demon King Baalzrodan, the crazy Gruntlings of the Abyss are tremendously shrewd and lethal at the same time. They usually assault their enemies in large numbers, usually supported by one or more shamans of the same race. Use this "kit" to recreate any sort of demon infantry troop or shaman using the balljointed weapons provided.
2 Abyss Guardians (modular)
High-ranking troops of the Demon King, the Guardians of the Abyss are towering demons and devils capable of brandishing gigantic weapons. They are employed both as breakthrough troops and as defenders of unholy relics. The Abyss Guardians are often in command of Gruntlings: they are able to eat a subordinate who does't follow their orders!
In the picture below: 4 Gruntlings in the bottom and 2 Abyss Guardians on top.
Ildamos Half Blood (modular)
For certain missions the Demon King himself needs a commander who's smarter than a brutal Demon but equally lethal. In this case, the son of a Lust Demon and a human is perfect for the role. Ildamos is simply the most powerful Warlock of House Baalzrodan, often commanding large armies of Demons togheter with Diabolica.
The model comes with and without Demonic features.
Diabolica the Eternal (modular)
Daughter of an ancient king of the men and a Lust Demon matriarch, Diabolica the Eternal is the first of the Half-Demons. She's also called "the Blade of Baalzrodan", the finest axe mistress of this demonic house. For hundreds of years she has honed her ability to open portals of gret dimensions, useful for moving the king's demonic troops.
Vanos & Aya - Lust Demons (Fantasy Pinups)
Little is known about these lustful shapeshifters, capable of mixing among humans and then feeding on their essence. Similiar to a vampire, a single Lust Demon is capable of tricking an entire town and use his inhabitants as living-stock.
Ildamos on Rourazaak the Infernal
Rourazaak the Infernal, also know as the Hound of Baalzrodan, is simply the Demon King Dog. Untamable beast of the Abyss, he's used by Ildamos on extreme mission as powerful Mount. Rourazaak eat large amounts of gruntlings to sustain his insatiable appetite.
The beast comes in variants: with and without saddle (to use as standalone beast) and with 2 heads.
Minions Portal
One of the fiendish portals Diabolica create to summon the Abyss Demons. It comes in 2 versions: Active and Inactive.

However, curious about the Standalone weapons - specifically the fist. Are they scaled currently to fit the Abyss Gruntlings, or are they more Abyss Guardian size or Ildamos size? I'm trying to understand if i want to print as is for Gruntlings but scale up for Iladamos, of if they'll fit both models as is.

I hope that the trend continues, its made putting all the parts together in meshmixer super easy, and I haven't had to fight with moving hands to arms on the models, the elf set I had a horrible time moving things around to be in the right place.

2020-02-02 14:26:25 +0000 UTCI'm sorry but it was not like that. When exporting in Zbrush it automatically export with the model coordinates. So it's really the same, we export the same way. We just moved the weapons STL to another folder

2020-02-02 12:11:00 +0000 UTCAs written in the "modular usage" text file inside the folder, they just changed location :) Every weapon with hand it's inside the proper model folder now, making easier to import the right weapons to recreate the suggested modular (the one in the renders).
