My comments are not meant to start an argument, and they are my thoughts and feelings expressed to the artist and community as to how I feel. Dwarves are very popular BUT very high produced. AG are two highly talented sculptors that do amazing works, and if they want to do dwarves, then they have the right to make dwarves without our consent. Since they have given us a choice in the matter, along with the right to make comments, I wanted and did feel compelled to state my opinion. My opinion is that with their skills and abilities pushing themselves to a unique set of figures is what separates AG from other sculptors in the market. I am not stating that their dwarves would stop me or even slow my support of their lines. My point is that ever fantasy sculptor that offers choices must get tired of seeing a large portion of the fantasy market demanding the same limiting choice of figure lines. As a creative community that spend our free time supporting a fantasy hobby lets step away from the typical fantasy tropes and give suggestions that liberate and challenge these artists to push their creative side. When they need a break from exploration, the artist can go and create the set of "normal" fantasy, or if the artist desire to make a specific type, then I am okay with a post that says here is what I am doing next month. I thank the people that supported my statement and feel that options presented by AG and many other artists are a fantastic way to allow the community to give input. Thank you to the Artisan Guild for the quality of your work, and it is self-evident that you have built a strong community support around your skills. Polls are made every month because every new supporter have the right to vote. Also, if a entry get even 10% of votes it means that a lot of people want that. Alfar lost 2 times, and yet people loved the set. Same for humans and other older ones :) Sometime it's a question of priority. That being said, we will continue putting in the poll what inspire us the most.... We still need some inspiraton to make a good set :) Working on a theme we Don't like (or Don't want to sculpt at the moment) is never a good Idea

we dont need to read threads and discord.... because fundamentally thats not the system thats in place here. It doesnt really matter if AG loves Dwarves, the patreon wasnt advertised as an ode to Dwarves. Im happy that were finally getting these Dwarves out of the way... however if another set of dwarves is offered in the next 12 months, im gonna be dissapointed and more importantly BORED.

Except their are already AG dwarfs and their isnt AG fishmen. The vague nebulous differences between both sets of dwarfs arent really enough to offset that the AG fishmen havent been done AT ALL. So that clearly makes the fishmen the superior choice.

Nope, apparently dwarves are amazing and we should just have them every few months. Don’t get me wrong, Im happy that they’re finally getting this set of dwarves and that the people who really want them are finally getting them. However to be honest I think if I see another dwarf option in the next 12 months after this... i really won’t be very happy. Same goes for goblins etc... Theirs a whole bunch of races that haven’t been touched and genuinely I feel that focus should go towards new stuff rather than retreading old waters. It’s why I’m not interested in oni, as it feels like a slightly adapted retread. I don’t even like gnomes or halflings but if they came up, I would vote for them... to give those players some love. However it’s up to the artists to craft what they like, I’m not gonna try and dictate what they want to do with their business.

The death tide is a great chance to expand into a unique design and seldomly sculpted figures. It's sad that community support keeps asking artist to all sculpt the same highly available pieces, humans, elves and dwarves. To the "Too Many Dwarves" posters, I too want to see the others, they look AWESOME however, as an active DM I have many many more uses for the dwarves. I know there are a lot out there already but the reason I back patreons like this is that I like having as many of my regular use figures as high quality as possible and, if possible, all in the same art style. That's why I'm usually going to vote one of the more common races/themes in when I get the chance. Heck, one month I'd REALLY like to see something even more basic like a "Basic Animals" month so I have a ton of druid forms and low level encounter mobs. It's all about the usability for me.
