My wife and I love these for fun paint and display pieces. They are one of the reasons we signed up finally (especially the Goblin, Vamp and Dryad). There is nothing wrong with appreciating the sensual shapes of the human form and we would welcome some OTT buff and gruff male pinups in the future too.

Lol I love all the guys who come out of the woodwork to defend their right to erotic eye candy on their shelves! I know I'm in the minority as a female printer / painter, so I accept that there are some designs I just won't "get". ;) And I agree that this month's dryad will be easy to, er... De-objectify. I forgot to mention that in the past I have used a little Green Stuff model putty to clothe semi-nude models for game use. They turned out very well and offended nobody at the game table. It is easy to do and the pinups do not have to be useless models if you are willing to try this.

While I understand you're opinion on this and agree in terms of game minis, I also feel not all minis are meant for game play. After watching the video about creating the ogre model I have a new appreciation for the amount of work and talent going into each sculpt. This combined with the price of a purchased mini, often $5 US or more, make me feel that we are getting a good deal here. Please continue to give us the pinup since not all of us patrons are gamers, and even those of us who are sometimes like to print and paint just for the fun of it.

"Useful" is a very subjective opinion. For me these pinups are of great use. It's easier to improve your skin painting if there is a lot of skin... Also they are nice to look at. :> Maybe male pinups would be a good idea...

well initially we don't even had a pinup :) It's a goal that we unlocked and you consider it as a 100% bonus model. By the way, a little painting in certain areas could really change the appearence of the dryad we did for january

Count me in as another subscriber who just ignores the files for the pinups. I'm sure there are some who find them fun to paint or look at... But it's kind of disappointing when there's already a scarcity of cool female figures that aren't hyper-sexualized.

Easy enough to pick up Blender and do some rigging for reposes. I view the pinup as a fun (for some of us) freebie more than anything intended to be functional.

So, just watched this, Might be an unpopular opinion, but instead of doing a "pinup" each month, can we replace that with a useful model? Just don't see the point in having figures with their ass and titties hanging out especially since most of my games span a variety of age ranges and religious believes. Feels like I am only getting 90% of my money's worth because I don't even download the pinup STL files.
