I second the Pandas! We need Panda cavalry

It'd be cool to do different cultural models too for humans like Arabian, African, Asian, Scottish, etc... I know that is out of the scope of one month's releases, but just some food for thought. You could also do different mounts like camels, ostriches, tigers, pandas, etc.

I'm seeing a fair few people after anthropomorphic characters, is that something you'd consider putting up for the vote? Personally I'd like to see variety rather than a single type, not sure on period though, Victorian could be cool, as could fantasy.

Dwarfs and Orgs were always going to be hard to get because their races were released before. There are many ways the humans can be made unique having spell marks or elemental magical twists. Storm clerics with lightning effects paladins divine smite ext. If we are going with human fighters is there away to get spell casting effect modular (druids clerics wizards) or do you want to separate the fighters and spell casters for different months?

Would love to see some Paizo head style goblins in various levels of equipment. It's really hard to find armored, monk, or anything other than just NPC looking style.

oh man, im super stoked for those ancient fire dwarves, reminds me of matt collvile's dwarves in "priest." maybe some day after the masses get their exciting... human... fighters... °_____° and wow, the mount is a... horse. lol, im sure yall will do a good job with them, but damn. countless humanoid races and creatures in fantasy and people want to play with boring stuff that already exists in the real world?

Humans would be amazing, especially if we had a nice range of soldiers. Something that looks like it could be part of an army together. I'd love to be able to set up dudes and lady-dudes with shields covering spearmen, who have archers in the back. Paladin on a armored unicorn (w/ cloven hooves and lions tail) or paladin on Winged Lion would be amazing. For the Larger figs, maybe some winged angle like beings w/ lion faces, or "warforged" types, and of course, a wizard. Oh man, there is a lot of cool things.

Hello Kevin, don't worry, with 12 Sets per year we will surely make those soon :) We needed to try to split the votes on 3 choices instead of 4 to give more chances to races that almost won older polls. For sure we will keep whetever have a major number between the last 2 for the next poll, and incorporate new races :)

I know everyone's hating on Humans, but honestly finding QUALITY humans is hard to do if you want high detail (Which is why I'm a patron). Orges and Dwarves have been done by every other group. I would like to see some variance in races going forward though, with these 3 as the only choices I was a bit disappointed. Something like Anthromorphs (Tabaxi, Aarocokra, Werewolves, wererats, werebears, etc) or Aasimar would be awesome counters to the Orcs/Vamps/Mindflayers.

You know, gnomes could be fun - so many ideas, so many stilly face, picks, gadgets, , funny vehicles, bombs even. If you've ever seen the Oathsworn stuff or some of the new Reaper bits from Bones V thats are coming - the anthropomorphic stuff is very cool too. I'd also like to throw in imps, nurglings, snotlings - that sort of thing, you know the daft stuff - although maybe it would have to be as an aside to something else.

None of these would be a first choice, I have plenty of Dwarves and Humans, and don't tend to use Ogres enough to need more of them either. Of course with the quality to Artisan Guild, I won't complain about any of them, and will happily take them, print them, and will almost certainly love all of them. They will doubtlessly be better than the others I have, and give more options. That said, some other options would be lovely for future months. I have very few Tabaxi/cat-people minis, Halflings or Gnomes, or maybe a Dragonborn set with a boss riding a drake? How about some spirits and ghouls with a lich and necromancer, undead set? Gnolls/beastmen? Demons, with a Raksasha boss, on a flying carpet! Just some ideas...

Thats a good point, if its all modular (as they tend to be) there could be some real legs in the weapon options, not just for this one but for the following and previous models too.

Sure human fighters may be generic, but I would think that Artisans Guild will give us some of the best human sculpts out there. Plus if it comes with a lot of different weapons, since fighters use all kinds, it will be great for modularity with all the past and future sculpts. I had great fun putting Orc weapons onto mind flayers, having a bunch of standard options would be great for all future sets.

Another Patreon of mine has been dong dwarves for two months now so I have tons of those. Also I have tons of Ogres (though more is welcome).. but quality human fighters.. I don't have tons of those.

Honestly very surprised that humans are so popular, but I hope the other concepts will eventually see the light of day

Looking forward to the humans. Hope with the females, one is with softer beauty facial features and the other harder tougher facial features. Also do like the idea someone mentioned about a Pegasus. But I doubt you want to do feathered wings again after working on SOL :)

A lot of complaining but I am happy to get some high quality human sculpts. They are the most common race out there and I don’t have any models at the high quality that Artisan Guild puts out. Also, human on a horse would be the most useful.

If we’re discussing mount ideas for the humans, I’d love to see a feathered wyvern/dragon inspired by archaeopteryx. I’m slowly cobbling together a world with dragon knights, but the dragons that they ride are feathered. It’d be a unique sculpt, for sure. Shameless plug for my selfish gain. 😁

We saw some patrons on facebook getting really creative. Basically on your favourite 3d printing software you can just take a model with the legs not too close, and place (compenetrating) the mount. It sounds strange but it works most of the time ;)

I wonder if the mounts can be set so they work in other sets, it would be good if the riders fit on more then one mount. Not sure if this works on all but maybe a saddle that adapts if needed. While it does not appear my vote is going to win out, I'm sure whatever we get will be good.

I’d like to suggest that the next 3 months are settled with these options. Clearly, they all have enthusiastic support from the patrons and interest from the artist. Order is largely irrelevant when you know you’ll be getting all of them in the near future. I think this would even be a good method for voting going forward: put up a batch of 4 and vote for which one is made first, then select from the remaining 3 the next month, and so on, until all 4 sets have been made. Knowing what is over the horizon in upcoming months would provide both the sculptor(s) and patrons with the ability to plan ahead, while the assurance that all sets will get made relatively soon will allieviate stress for people who really want a specific set that seems to be less popular than others. I think we can all agree that we’d support artisan guild through all the sets because, even if we’re less than enthusiastic about a set, the sculpts never fail to blow us away.

The dwarves had my vote when I saw that there would be a dwarf riding a golem. Not to mention there would be so many options for a dwarven war between 2 clans or you can have them team up to fight the depth ones or the demon Lord or any other faction that we have so far. No matter what set gets chosen I'm sure we will get amazing sculpts as always!

Humans are so common and plentiful from a gazillion other excelent contributors. And you can customoze your own human hero on HeroForge or DesktopHero. Ogres on the other hand are few and not with the same style.
