Early Souless (Vampire) Progress!

Hello dear Adventurers and Merchants! After few days of sketching and tests we can finally say that we are happy with the direction we took for next month release, themed on  the Souless Ones, or Vampire if you prefer. These bloodthirsty provokers are ancient beings that extended their life through dark rituals. They are intended to be equally brutal, vicious and sexy, that's our final design goal :)

We are really at an early stage, and without a pose the model is still not shining of course. These will not be the regular Drakula: we are aiming for a group of epic and terryfing  dark figures.  It's pretty clear that if you are creative on color schemes you can easly turn them in some kind of proxies for dark elves, even if we will end up sculpting proper dark elves in future :)

This set will include 4 dynamic modular Souless (2 male and 2 ladies( with a variety of weapons and spells, 1 heroic Ancent Lord as first hero. The second Hero will be so vicious and twisted that will almost look a monstruosity, going in the style of vampiric beasts, so expect sharp design and wings! As always one hero will get a mount, and it's a surprise like every month ;) Finally, this month we want to have a Beauty of the Month that is more action oriented, like a third heroine to use in battle!

It's a very nice idea, at the moment we are really charged of sculpts till the last day of the month. Perhaps in the future :)

These look sick! Good job!!!

How about a building add on? It could be modular rooms for a villainous overlord's castle, one new modular space a month with accessories that fit, for vampires it could be an examination room with tools for blood letting, coffins, and such.

Well that collar is part of a cloak :) It's just not there at this stage

Artisan Guild

A cloak might help I'm thinking. At least then the high collars would fit better

Chris

I know these are early renders, but I’m creeped out by the collar of flesh from the one on the right. Lol

Michael Brown

Great idea! I didn’t vote for vampires, but they produce such great stuff I knew I’d find a use for them and using them as dark elves sounds like a winning plan to me, thanks!

Michael Brown

I also think they do look like Depth Ones with different heads... Maybe if they were a bit thinner yet athletic. Kinda like the ones in Legacy of Kain. Or maybe a different approach, like the Nosferat in Disciples.

Adrian Alexe

Any chance we could get versions with full clothing?

Sam Kay

I like em. I miss the skull on the shoulder pad from the sketch though.

Jessy Montufbrad

I don’t have much use for vampires so maybe I will use them as dark elves!

Hmmmm. Reading some of the comments here and it came to me- the current concepts look like a vampire blood bowl team. Which could be cool in its own right, but for regular use models I'm prone to agreeing that they either need more armor or less. I think I'd be more partial to a full-plate armor depiction, but I absolutely understand the appeal for a clothed, aristocratic feel- I'm thinking along the lines of GWs old von Carstein models. Either way, the renders are still fantastic!

For me it's the high collars that make them feel like Depth Ones.

I think these look pretty good, though I'm still sulking humans didn't get up 😝 I agree though on the less armour, more clothing and robes approach would look better.

SteveWasEre

To be honest, I am not a big fan of the two new models. Now they look like Depth Ones with elven heads. I wish they had less armor, less muscles and looked more undead.

TinkerBotX

Came here to post specifically this. While I didn't vote for Vampires, not everything needs to have Rogue armor. Clothes would be perfect in this theme. Never seen a vampire in armor before. It looks wicked out of place. And what they are wearing looks exactly like the depth ones.

Wil

looks great, but are they just depth ones with different heads?

Jeremy

Would love a version with twisted flesh like world of darkness nosferatu

Sean Croteau

Great looking models but nothing about them screams Vampire to me. Would rather the classic Dracula/Strahd style. Unarmored, dressed the the tee with the flowing cape. At least in D&D terms never seen an armored Vampire.

Really like them Any chance we get a heavy armored version? Something like the Warhammer Fantasy Blood Knights

Vaelthurs

grazie per aver ascoltato la mia richiesta di ieri!! e grazie anche per.."bald head is power"!!! ahahahah

Francky Il Pazzo

Great concept, but why are they wearing elaborate decorative armor everywhere but have a bare chest?

Stephan

so good already, Nosferatu, I see you bro!

Greg Kourakos

Badass. Already know how I'm going to paint these baddies.

Michael Kelsey

Awesome! Keeping it nice and spooky in time for some spooky October campaigns!
