200 Patrons Goal Unlock - Alternative Weapons!

Here is a preview pictures on how the Alternative Weapons will look in the next release (and all future ones!) This feature will be helpful for you to create large armies or encounters with a bit more variety.
The models will always remain faithful to their "class" or archetype, for example the Dwarven Guardians will always have a shield in their off hand, and if we design one day a set of berserker with giant weapons, they will not come with the option of shield.
This doesn't mean that more varieties of dwarves will not come in future, stay tuned :)
On another topic, we still have not unlocked the 300 Goal "second hero", but we often are making a special extra unit (such the Ogre Burtz Dwarfstew).
Flokir the Skald, coming next month, will probably receive an extra weapon!
At the same time, we are putting a lot of effort in the 150Goal (already unlocked) Party Camp. Sketches are ready but there's a lot of work to do to make a nice camping kit :)

About weapons, the cool thing is that now that the goal has been unlocked, every new hammer we make for future releases will be compatible with these guardians! There will be surely new hammer in future :)

It was like Let's make some dwarf with big horns! eheh On another hand, I'm sure you can cut the horns away very easly :) we would like to see what happens honestly. Thanks!

At the beginning we didn't even had the idea to make that "weapon swap" goal. I'm sorry for that, but your feedback is really great and we will keep it in mind for the next time :) Many thanks

2019-05-22 16:24:16 +0000 UTCYeah, might be cool to do a race specific camp item every month with your release, like a big ogre banner last month and a dwarven anvil for repairs this month for example. Lots of cool ideas, but I guess it's plenty of work to do the monthly release as it is.

2019-05-22 16:12:29 +0000 UTCAbout the party camp, is it race specific? I'd think that a dwarf camp would be very different from an ogre camp (both would probably have barrels of booze though :)). Or do you try to keep things generic?
