Big Guy Work in Progress and some Info!

As you have noticed, we decided to not make our supporters pay immediatly when becoming our patrons. The reason behind this is that the month is ending, and we don't want you to be charged twice in a week! From day 1 of the next month we will turn on the option to "charge patrons up front". Now let's talk about the cool stuff :-)
As we will always do here there's a quick work in progress of the next Ogre guy, the one holding a cannon. It's still very early.
The initial plan was to relese various regular Ogre "troops" for May 3 Ogre Marauder, 1 Cannoneer and 1 Shaman, for a total of 5 troops. For Troops we mean normal units, not heroes.
During the sculpting of the Ogre Cannoneer something happened: we felt in love with him and we decided that it would be cool to convert him in a Hero.
The difference between a normal troop and a Hero for us means a more charismatic character, a sort of leader, experienced veteran and or a sort of "badass lone wolf".
Apart from the background, to make a Hero we also need to make better details on the sculpt. Unique trinkets and gear, a more dynamical pose, and generally a cooler attitude.
This means of course that a Hero needs really more time for testing stuff, trying different gadget and sculpting.
Our plan was to release "More than 3 Models per Month", and with 3 Ogre Marauders +1 Ogre Cannoneer Hero we have in fact 4 Miniatures for all our supporters who will stay with us on May.
Proceding this way the Ogre Shaman would be delayed for the following month, and maybe we could make a Shaman Hero full of attitude and crazy gadgets!
Overall, Heroes will be much better miniatures... well not only a miniatures: printing it at a much bigger size will make a perfect piece for painter and collectors.
Does one of you paint models guys? Would be great to see your painted Ogre in a near future!

Hello Antonio, and thanks for staying with us. In very few days you will receive the 3 Ogre Marauders and the Hero Cannoneer, we really hope you will like those big guys! :)

2019-04-26 07:27:13 +0000 UTCthat is a good thing (The not pay till start of the month) one of the patreons I was made me pay last week -I didn't read properly- and I get some sculptures but would have waited for the start of the month and pay only one (this is the one I left to enter here): Nothing against them quite sure was me not reading properly but help me to decide wich one to left..
