Added 2024-11-14 21:12:05 +0000 UTCThis took a little longer than usual because I was mapping out a bunch of the pages ahead of this one. We’re actually nearing the end of Volume 2 now, and I needed to get things finalised. I was originally going to try and squeeze in this big event as a finale to cap off the volume, but I eventually came to realise that it would just make the page count ridiculously long and it would just take too great a timeframe to actually get there. This event that I have planned will make for an explosive opening sequence for Volume 3 regardless, and that volume is just going to be non-stop huge events one after another. With that aside, I’ve got a perfectly satisfactory end to the volume coming up in just a few pages. It’s a bit of a cliffhanger (forgive me!), but then we can get onto some lore infographics like what I did for the bonus pages in the back of the first volume of Humanity Lost. You here on Patreon won’t have long to wait for Volume 3. It will begin immediately after the infographics are complete, and oh boy is it going to be a doozy!

Well I want some of these infographics to be a surprise, but I’d be interested in what you’d like to see in particular. There will be pages on how wormholes work and on psionics too. As for Over-fathers, this is a big question and it’s one that those in-universe ask themselves, there are fears that Deicide is a machiavellian mastermind trying to create his own rival power base. Deicide has fully reconditioned himself from the All-mothers brainwashing and freed himself from her psionic influence, I believe he has genuine empathy for those around him, but he is ultimately motivated by revenge. Within the Conglomerate and the wider Galactic Union there are those who believe Deicide is planning exactly what you mentioned and have formed a rivalling faction of their own to Deicide’s and there have even been attempts on Deicide’s life.

Are Over-Father's able to be genuinely loyal, feel affection or be friends with non-Imperium? If they are programmed not to do that does it mean that Deicide is doing all of this for power and he will establish his own empire once the war is over? How would the Conglomerate react to that?
