Added 2024-08-01 20:12:32 +0000 UTCThanks for being so patient with me, it has been so hot in England these past few days and it has made concentrating pretty hard, my hands have been slipping off my screen and everything haha not a pretty sight. As you all know we don’t have AC here because it’s not really worth it for the short English summer, so I was absolutely baking 🥵 I pushed through though and I’m happy with the end result! I’ve included both with and without the speech bubbles so you can see those extra details that I added in.

Dude it’s such an interesting thing to think about, you can just let your imagination run riot over this sort of stuff. I’ll see if I can slip some things like you said into the upcoming market scenes.

2024-08-03 06:32:51 +0000 UTCThanks so much! Oh it is 🥵 I’d imagine the human face would be kept in tact tbh, the imperium use the human face as iconography on many of their ships and structures. Ooo yeah that sounds cool, maybe the Overfathers armour could be made up of plate like scales with long barbs on their tips, the psionic nodes could be in there. Psionic nodes are a technology and are usually incorporated into an Over-fathers armour, not their bodies themselves. Imperium units do not utilise Flux generators no, I will make an infographic for the end pages of volume 2, there’s no need to commission me, your patronage is enough ☺️

Consider how weird our stuff would look if we didn't have trees to work with-- Long, straight, light, carve-able material thats abundant. What if, instead, we only had giant egg shell crusts, or bundled reeds, or fungus leather to work with?

Do you think an alternative Over-Father might keep the human face intact or change it somewhat, such as by giving it ant mandibles in addition to the normal jaw? I also imagine it might be a human/wyrm covered with quills and hairs that act as psionic nodes. Do you think Imperium infantry units have Flux generators powering them so they only need food when they must heal an injury? Would you be willing to make an infographic explaining the biology of Imperium units if I commissioned you?
