2024-07-06 14:51:52 +0000 UTCOh i happen to also use procreate on the ipad! What brushes do you use for line art and for colouring, and what settings do you use for them? It seems like some sort of pencil style brush, but the edges are very clean compared to those i use. I also notice zooming in that the pages still have a paper like quality, sometimes even with little specks of debris here and there, i assume that must just be a stylistic choice?

2024-07-05 19:16:04 +0000 UTCI only have a rough idea of how the energy shields work for now, basically it’s to do with alternative universes again. An over-father selects multiple points in space time and connects them up with a sort of quantum locking, energy is allowed to pour through the points and is cast along the lines connecting the points and exits our space again. It takes an over-father an immense amount of concentration to produce one of these barriers, so a shield unit (however cool that idea sounds) is off the table I’m afraid. There could be some other shield unit that utilises an alternative technology though, like a slow generator, which is something that will be introduced fairly soon. As for commissions, I can take on small commissions like the ones that I do for Ryan and Seth, but I can’t really take on anything bigger than that at the moment. 2024-07-05 19:08:20 +0000 UTCIn order to keep up the rate of pages coming out on Patreon regularly, I’ve had to transition onto fully digital artwork. I prefer working on paper and I still do some of my commissions on paper. The whole of volume one was done by drawing on paper, scanning it in and then colouring it digitally. All pages for volume two have been done on procreate for iPad Pro. The iPad Pro is a fantastic tool and it allows me to draw on the screen like I’m drawing on paper, preserving my free hand style 😁 if you want to know any specifics, just ask away!

Is there an Imperium infantry unit that is basically a walking shield generator designed to provide cover for other drones? Also I'm wondering are you open for commissions right now? It's fine if you don't have the time or you need to focus on other things : )

If so do you use pen or pencil, and do you think it works better than doing lineart traditionally for you? And what size paper do you work with, as you seem to get a ton of detaul in. I also feel its safe to assume the colouring however is digital haha, either way im fascinated to learn your artistic process!
