Thanks so much!

Bro I love it, the Art, the story, can't wait to read more. Good job

Alex B.

Thank you Oleksii 😁 that’d be great, feel free to drop me a message about it any time!

Callum Diggle

Amazing work, happy to see your story and worlds visualize. Hope to make a game or animation from this universe in future with you, when more people will see your work! It will not be an easy task, but the fortunate one)

Oleksii Tyshchenko

It’s going to be horrifying!

Callum Diggle

Can’t wait for the prologue as well, the backstory of humanity’s conversion to this mess will surely be an interesting read.

The Orange Oof

Thanks! There will be more coming down the line, perhaps even a whole prequel comic set during ww3 before the Human-conglomerate war. For now though I’m going to start wrapping this flashback up and get the story back to Losté and the crew.

Callum Diggle

God I fucking love this, I hope we can see more visualized versions of the world before the all mother

MO PO

Aw thank you! Yes, please take plenty of time with each page, they take me so much time to produce!

Callum Diggle

Beautiful. I have to really pause and soak up all of the details.

Infernal Sphinx

There’s no where really to hide, Fliegrigel is specialised for that very task and I’m sure there are more like him. If you can imagine a world, there’s probably an Over-Father that is perfectly suited to taking that specific world. That would be awesome, I have no plans for that in this coming scene, but who knows, I’m might be able to fit something like that in in the future.

Callum Diggle

I wonder, if there's an Overfather specializing in undersea battle and the likelihood some aliens will try to survive the Imperium by hiding in an Ice shell moon, do you plan on making something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DY8dfr97WVc It would be epic if we saw the massive eye of some Imperium ship staring into a submarine through a giant window!

Erika Spooner

I’ll update it now, sorry about that!

Callum Diggle

I didn’t notice there was a discord and the invite link is expired lol. Is there an updated one somewhere?

zuccubus

You’re correct, all Earth life has been absorbed into the “technology”mod the Imperium. You’ll actually see some animal derived technologies in these next few pages, such as Raven reconnoissance drones and Imperium hounds. For now though I’m fleshing out the back matter of volume one to get it ready for print in a couple of weeks time. But I’ll be back to volume 2 issue 7 soon enough, sorry to keep you waiting!

Callum Diggle

Am I correct that so far nothing has been shown regarding other Earth species? Did the Imperium made all of them extinct, did it integrated into its gene-splicing (ships derived from heavily altered instects?) or some of those were "uplifted" into sentient being? Just curious!

Andrea Bonanno

You’re the first person to have mentioned that!

Callum Diggle

I found that 2001 easter egg in the first page of issue 5.

Erika Spooner

Lol yes, be warned! You’re correct! Well, there are many conflicting theoretical models that the scientists of the conglomerate and the wider Galactic Union have been battling with, but I can give you the ten thousand foot view of the FLUX. The entire universe is populated by identical particles all of the same type. They blip evanescently between points in space-time, changing scale as they do so. One moment a FLUX particle could be the scale of UY Scuti (the largest known star) and the next it could be a few light years away at the scale of a grain of sand. It is a chaotic place compared to our own universe, but it is much smaller than our own, meaning that covering a small distance in the FLUX is equivalent of travelling a great distances in our verse.

Callum Diggle

I will create the cover once issue 7 is complete. I’ve commissioned Vanga_Vangog (an artist you may be aware of) to do the cover for issue 6, he has been pretty busy with university work lately, but hopefully we’ll see that soon!

Callum Diggle

Any info on the issue 7 cover?

Oz Hickman

Tryphophes be warned, those are some pretry garnly looking Flux-Burns that the Kraken suffered. Also, might I ask, but how exactly do physics work in the Flux? Space is warped right? And it contains a multitude of particles the scale of atoms to stars, correct?
