Sorry about the wait on these pages for issue 6, they take a whole lot of time to complete. Sometimes I think to myself that it’d be so much quicker to just do Humanity Lost as a novel, but I really do enjoy doing the art. Humanity Lost is as much an art project as it is a story/narrative. It’s fun looking back and seeing just how much I have progressed since page one. I’ve learnt so much to do with my craft since then and I just know that I have so much more to learn before the end. Thanks for coming on this journey with me you lot.
Anyway, the next post will be a humongous two page spread zooming out from the hero-ship (the Venator as it is named) to show a whole fleet of alien ships. I’ve had a lot of these ship designs in my head for a long time, so it’s going to be fun bringing them to life.
I’ve got a lot of perspective grids to figure out that’s for sure, so I’ll see you all next week!
