2021-12-24 17:22:02 +0000 UTCThis was wonderful, especially the music at the end; the singer holds a special place in my heart. My mom had an antique victrola when I was a kid, and she had a few 78s by Alma Gluck. These songs were a little more on the shrill side than “O Tannenbaum.” When us kids tried to sleep too late on weekends, my mom would put Alma Gluck on that victrola and crank ‘er up. We didn’t sleep late very often. My mom lost her battle with dementia this past October, but I would have loved to share this interlude with her. Thanks and Merry Christmas.
