Augur, Book 3, Chapter 1
Added 2025-04-26 15:22:58 +0000 UTCI have tentatively titled Book 3 as 'Guts and Glory', but that's subject to change.
Chapter 1 is intended to be a little bit of recap, but mostly to get the action introduced. If you read the earlier start at Book 3, the basic flow of events is more or less the same, I'm just starting the narrative a little earlier instead of jumping into two of the conflicts directly. I'm also setting up some reasons to move events out of Jack's house, which otherwise threatened to be the setting of like 95% of the book. I like the new house, but one of the things I didn't like as much about Augur B2 was how static the setting was - I wanted a reason to introduce more locations and characters.
